Absolutely amazing experience; Grega was fantastic from start to finish. High quality well maintained bikes, beautiful route at exactly the right pace. Grega was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about both the area and cycling. He even tolerated my World Tour cycling chat which I’m sure he has to have with every guest :-D 10/10 will definitely come again. Best experience ever. Grega planned a 4 day hiking hut to hut followed by a 4 day bike loop around the Julian Alps. We chose self guided with all our maps downloaded prior on an easy to use app. The huts included dinner and breakfast. The hotels were including breakfast. All of our luggage was transferred to each hotel without an issue on our bike trip. We had plenty of time to enjoy the afternoon and explore or rest! We have rented 2 mountain E-MTB for 8 days to do the the Julian Alp Mountain Bike trail around Triglav National Park. The were n good shape and everything went well. Grega took the Time to adjust the and give us good advice. I strongly recommend! We rented 2 ebikes and made a beautiful tour through the Bohinj valley along small farms, waterfalls and streams . We passed small villages and the Bohinj lake. It was beautiful weather, a bit cold. Grega helped us with the and the route. It was a day as we love cycling.. We had an amazing experience with Grega from Hike and Bike. We knew we wanted to bike on our first day in the Bohinj area valley, but wasn’t sure of any other details and Grega arranged via email a private tour with gravel of all the highlights in the valley with really helpful information for future days. He was an invaluable source of local details and answered all our questions about the towns and hay barns we cycled by. There were clear cycling instructions when riding on road for safety and checks in frequently on the speed. He gets shots along the way and shared right after. Can’t recommend enough! We had a fantastic experience. Grega has a set-up. Excellently maintained Specialized gravel fitted our hopes for a relaxed day in the saddle with mostly roads but able to cope if the satnav took us off road. The cycle paths around Bohinjska Betrisca are fantastic. And the climb up to Blato from Stara Fužina is epic. communications all the way through and very reasonably priced at €40/day for a better bike than my one at home. 66 very happy kilometres pedalled. Excellent service and top quality eMtb bikes. Greg’s gave a quick but comprehensive intro and off we went. A detour off the supplied route took us up to Vodnikov Lookout Point. Well worth it. We had a day exploring the area. 10:0am to 5:30pm and all still had over 40% left 🚴🚴🚴 bike rental shop, with excellent service, the owner Grega is very kind and helpful. The are like new, very recommanded to rent here if you want to discover the Bohinj valley fast and with lots of fun! I suggest you to choose the e-bikes if you haven’t tried yet.
