There are only few rooms to visit, however it is very beautiful and has a wonderful story and history. We got the tickets for €17 adults, but they tried to charge full price for an 11-year-old kid. So we just took the tour. There are six rooms you can visit, and they are on the same floor. You can't go upstairs, you can't take pictures, and you can't discover the rest of the castle. They will hurry you to get out as soon as possible. Not worth it. Bad option trying to this castle. Small chateau, only only see the first floor, but it is very interesting. The has some very neat details inside and on the grounds. The tour speaks many different languages. My family and I saw this in 1975 when we lived in Masnuy St. Pierre and went out for a ride one day. I was so impressed with the grounds and the structure that I remember all of it fondly. I finally went on-line to see if I could find it and, low and behold, there it is! If I ever find the pictures that we took of it I will post them on here. There are the ruins of an 1100 year old Norman fort with a story of the "mad monk" who used to murder travelers passing through. There is the "Pillory" where serfs used to be beaten. There is a small port there that shows the water levels used to be HIGH in that area (think about that...) and BEST of all: there is a hunting lodge built atop a huge pile of boulders that is man-made(!) that is amazing to see. You have to understand the place's history and its abundance to fully realize what you're looking at!
