It seems that a lot of people working at Dao are very inexperienced. Two of the beauticians clearly had no idea what they were doing. A year ago, I had an underarm wax that took almost 40 minutes and over a week to properly heal! Then just 3 weeks ago, because my other beautician was fully booked, I returned and had a leg wax there, which took much longer than it should have, hurt terribly and was pretty ineffective. I have been waxing for over 25 years in all of the countries where I have lived and these experiences count as some of the worst I have had. We had a lovely experience on Dao Mons Spa & Fitness. The place wasn't crowded, even if it was Saturday and school holiday. Everything very clean and in good working condition. I can also highly recommend their restaurant, marvellous. was just ok. The girl seemed quite inexperienced. the oil she used was way too overpowering. It would be nice to get to choose what is used on you or at least use something more neutral. I left very greasy and wasn’t even offered a glass of water!! A bit underwhelming and won’t be back Very clean and relaxing place, just go for it, don't think 💆 totally worth it. The snow shower was the highlight for me, plus the delicious lime infused cold tea 🍵 Everyone is very polite and accommodating. The rooms are really incredible and the facilities are amazing. I highly recommend booking an access pass to this place and also a or facial! One of the worst massages I ever had. First time ever I see a therapist with long nails. First time ever I see a therapist taking nail appointments with customers after giving a massage. Probably explains the quality. Also, tried to get the therapist certificate (for insurance purposes) and did not get a response about that. Not coming back. They don’t provide the service listed. The person at the reception is rude and does not listen. She needs to pay attention. Some of us do not speak French, but we do understand! Do not book here for anything. Untrained personnel.
