The family and I went and did the Museum Heist in Chester Escapism today and it was brilliant. Shannon looked after us from start to end and did a job of it. The itself was challenging - it was me, my wife and two kids, 10 and 12yrs and it was a challenge, but we got out with 5 kindly provided when we were struggling and with 5 minutes to spare out of the hour. We didn't take any photos of the of course as requested, but it was really good - interactive, engrossing, right on theme - a really good time. It was £80 which felt about right - not what I would consider cheap, but we didn't feel like it was overly expensive after having experienced it. The staff were attentive, friendly and very informative - they did a job. We parked in the Delamere street car park which was right around the corner. It cost £6.50 for the about 3 hours we spent in the Chester in the and grabbing some lunch. We'll very likely go back and do another in the near future. We recently visited Escapism Chester to tackle one of their rooms, and it was a genuinely fantastic experience! Having played several rooms, I can confidently say this venue stands out for its high production values and incredibly clever puzzle design. ​We played 'The Missing' and the theming was brilliant; the itself felt truly immersive. The puzzles had a wonderful flow - they were varied, logical, and really demanded teamwork, providing that perfect 'Aha!' moment when we cracked a tricky code. It was a mix of tactile and cerebral challenges. ​A huge shout-out must go to our Master (they are consistently excellent here!), who was absolutely superb. They set the scene perfectly and offered timely, helpful hints when we truly needed a nudge, without ever giving the solution away. ​Escapism Chester is ideal for a date night, a team-building event, or a fun day out with the family. The entire hour flew by, and we left buzzing from the challenge. If you’re in Chester and looking for a time, book a here immediately. It's a truly professional and thrilling set-up. Went with a group of 6 to do the ‘Museum Heist’ and it was fun! Good level of challenge and range of puzzles for us all to get involved. Good theming. Our Ellie was really friendly and explained everything well. Me and my family did the museum heist room. It was very fun, we go here every year and everytime we go we have a very fun time! Our was Amy, she was a very sweet and positive girl and was sweet enough to give us when we didn't know what to do. Can't wait to come back soon 😊 We had the absolute best on our first visit here despite booking the most difficult 🤣 thankfully we had a wonderful member of staff called Lucy helping us out. She was fantastic, we will definitely be back. Charlie was a host. When we had trouble with a puzzle that wasn't reset properly before he he realized something was up and helped us out pretty quickly so we didn't have to suffer too much. We did the Conservation Crisis and it was well worth the and money! fun and Ellie was so lovely and so helpful! Amazing rooms, we had Ellie as our host, and she was fun for all 3 of the we did! All the were super interactive, with really unique puzzles that really challenged everyone in the group. Everything felt really high quality and worked exactly as it was supposed to, which can really ruin the immersion at other rooms. fun with friends doing The Missing. We went to the Escapism Chester yesterday and it was amazing! Our was Vikki and she made it a really exciting and she was brilliant. We did have to ask for a couple of and she was listening to help us straight away, without giving too much away! We did the ‘radioactive’ and it was so fun and engaging. Would really recommend this place to anyone. They also take your photo at the end with fun signs :) Charlie was a wonderful gamemaster for the conversation crisis room! Had so much fun escaping with just a few minutes to spare. A real tip for animal lovers, collaboration with Chester zoo so some money goes their way as well! An hour well spent! I booked escapism on a whim when other plans fell through. We arrived and were greeted by Lydia. She was really helpful and patient with us and we completed the challenge with 47 seconds to go and 6 clues!! Escapism was cheaper than other but far nicer than several we’ve used previously. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend. Really and the staff were really good too, especially Shannon & Ash who looked after my family during our visit. Our Bethany was wonderful, really informative and made our fun and enjoyable. i couldn’t recommend this enough, i will be back to complete the other rooms. Lovely would definitely do it again. Ellie, our host, was super friendly and informative. She was attentive during the game, and wasn't too heavy handed with the and hints - we needed the help exactly when she gave us it. We (me and a friend) ended up doing the museum heist, and it was tricky, clever, and a lot of fun to do! Would highly recommend My husband and I have been twice to Escapism in 2025 (Radioactive and Legacy rooms), both times we’ve had the lovely Charlie as our who was very helpful and welcoming. Two of our group hadn't done any before and the was very well paced so we always had something to be getting on with. Our Shannon was also incredible, very helpful and friendly! Went in with high expectations and left with them met, very friendly staff from start to end especially ellie who was the person who ran our rooms. We had originally booked to do radioactive and had enjoyed it that much we had decided to do another one which was the missing. Ellie was amazing as our and probably spend the whole laughing at our antics. It was a mix of physical and digital puzzles and with 5 people there was plenty to do. The Conservation was amazing, lots of puzzles to solve and really atmospheric. Emma, was warm and welcoming and got the balance right between letting us work the out ourselves and giving us hints. As a family group we would highly recommend Escapism Chester and will be booking another very soon. We did the museum as a group of 4 and it was great! There was plenty of things to do at one that everyone in the group could do and the amount of tasks to do are timed perfectly in the hour.
