Booked here for two nights. We booked a with electric and hot tub. The was a decent size. Had its own drinking water tap too. The hot tub was hot and a good size so made the most of this. The is a good size and is very popular with families and larger groups. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy. The has a few shops and bar/restaurant/cafe. You can also hire pods/glamping on this site. There is a big field with football nets and a large park for children. There’s a dog park here and dog wash station. Around our hot tub area there was a as few weeds and bricks/stones which wouldn’t have taken much to tidy up and make it look a little nicer. But over all we had a couple of days. Stayed here for a couple of nights on the way back from the Lake District to meet up with friends. Decent enough site, we had a hot tub which was nice, it’s a shame the tub was locked to the max 40 degrees though as the kids couldn’t stay in long as it was so hot. Our friends had an RV next to our which was something a bit different, not seen one of those on any campsite we’ve been to so far. Decent facilities with a bar/restaurant and small shop on site, not much walking if you’ve got a dog though, very limited. Terrible facilities for waste disposal, tiny metal bins you’d use at home with nowhere near the capacity for the amount of pitches there, it was windy while we were there and we saw rubbish piled up blowing all over the place. They need to invest in some big wheelie bins. Shower and toilet facilities all serviceable and clean enough. Not the sites fault, it’s just due to its location, but it certainly attracts a certain type of customer which may not be to everyone’s taste shall we say. Very friendly staff, clean showers and toilet facilities. Didn’t use the clubhouse, but it looked from outside. The boutique shops also looked very nice, a little pricey but nice. We’ll definitely return at some point. Thank you Not for us unfortunately, we’ve left a day early from a 3 night touring pitch. It is all a bit rough around the edges, a little bit grotty. Shower block was very smelly, toilet paper strewn all over, and I’m pretty sure the ceiling has been shot with a pellet gun at some point! It’s also a loud site, not good when trying to put a 2 year old to bed, and also under a flight path to John Lennon airport, again not brilliant for the toddler. It was very dusty, gravel bumpy roads meant the pram and dog were filthy every time we went out. We also came back to our to see a dog had pee’d on our awning, We were next to a caravan that seemed to be there on a seasonal pitch, and the lad inside smoked weed morning noon and night, again not ideal when kids are around. I paid £10 for WIFI for the three nights which was a total waste of money, it barely worked once. The bins were always overflowing, and litter everywhere around our pitch. We ordered takeout bacon sandwiches, 2 pieces of bacon in a very dry bun, not worth the money. Staff are friendly and didn’t have to wait long to be served, and quirky little shops and stalls are to look around. Overall, we won’t be returning, run down, worn out, and in need of some investment. Just returned from a well needed one night stay at Lady Heyes. We decided to try out an original pod. You can’t fault the staff on reception or in the restaurant. They are so lovely and attentive. The area was peaceful and relaxing. An issue with power outage was dealt with quickly despite the late hour. There are a number of quaint little pubs in and on the way to Frodsham, which is a 4 minute drive from the site. Looking forward to booking again. 😁 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
