Super clean and nice place. Well decorated, stylish, spacious, and very comfortable. The caretaker was fantastic and even served us from a small bar! We stayed here before our flight home to the US. The airport is about 20 mins away. One of the best stays we’ve had! Hillview House is in a quiet area with just a few houses around, which actually made it feel really peaceful and relaxing. I stayed here with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed our time. The staff were super friendly and the service was excellent—very professional, better than many B&Bs we’ve stayed in. There’s a small bar with drinks like beer and whiskey, plus a TV if you want to watch football or just relax. You can even order local food for delivery—the menu is at the bar, which is a great idea. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. Breakfast was delicious, the place is run by a lovely family, and there’s free parking too. Honestly, it deserves 5 stars—we would rate it higher than 10 if we could! Room was clean, plenty of hot water in the shower. Great pub/restaurant 6 minutes away, and Skerries (on the water) is 10. Airport 1/2 hour away yet you feel in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was made to order and lovely. A bar is available also.John is a great host! Great location off the M1, close to the airport, Lusk and Skerries but also a very peaceful, rural setting. An ideal base for travel to attractions around Dublin, Meath and Louth area. Our room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean with tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, hairdryer (that's not attached to the wall!) and fully wheelchair accessible. Free parking and wi-fi. Breakfast is cooked to order which is always welcome particularly with eggs. The hosts, John and Katie are absolutely fantastic, they were incredibly friendly, helpfull and accommodating and really went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Overall this is a very high standard B&B, between a B&B and small hotel offering the best of both. Would highly recommend.
