This was a lovely pub for drinking, with a bright interior incorporating greenery! Lights are really nice and counter is well presented, outdoor seating was good. I had a pint of Blue Moon, appreciating the clean area! This review is for the HOTEL mainly and the pub secondly! We stayed one night in this hotel. It was not the first choice, as my preferred chain was fully booked. It turned out to be an amazing alternative. The was spotless clean. You have free parking, an amazing sized room, a very comfy bed, a big TV, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies (huge extra point). The shower was great. I loved how the was a crossover between old a modern with exposed brick walls. The was also very good. The pub is also great. It is massive and has a huge number of tables. The food was very tasty and arrived quickly. Would again anytime. Pleasant experience chatting with Daniel. Slight mix up with order. A lot of the draught beers were not available. Typical spoons value for money. The Old Borough in Swords is a option for a casual and affordable meal or drinks. Like other Wetherspoons, the prices are excellent, and you get portions of classic pub fare. The friendly and efficient really make the place, creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's a spacious pub, popular with locals, and while it can get busy, it's generally a solid choice for a no-frills, budget-friendly experience. I recently had the pleasure of ending my wonderful trip to Ireland with a at the Old Borough Hotel and Pub, and it couldn't have been a more perfect choice. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Dublin Airport, it offered the ideal spot to relax and reflect before my departure. The rooms were a delightful surprise – spacious, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. It was clear that attention to detail is a priority here, making for a very comfortable stay. The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the pub. Boasting an impressive selection of draft beers, ciders, and whiskeys, it caters to every taste. The prices are fantastic, providing value without compromising on quality. One of my favorite features was the outdoor patios. They provided a serene space to unwind, swap stories, and share favourite memories and moments from the trip. The combination of excellent service, cozy accommodations, and a top-notch pub makes the Old Borough Hotel and Pub a standout choice. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable near Dublin Airport. Only paid parking outside and on the Main Street and there really isn’t that much space either. Bar was busy as the World Cup football was on and it’s a few weeks before Christmas. The bar area we were at was lovely and had a beautiful stained glass ceiling. However the tables were littered with menus and glasses and bottles. The only clear table was heavily marked with the remains of a sticky menu. Service is at the bar so take a note of your table number. The food is decent enough and not that expensive. It wasn’t that warm when it arrived and the bar just left the meals and never asked whether we needed anything else. He didn’t even lift any of the dirty glasses that were lying on other tables when he was going back. Just totally disinterested staff. They could do so much more with the place if the were properly trained. Got the full Irish breakfast and coffee for under €10!! Food was great, the kind and the dining area was spotless. Would highly recommend! A cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. We missed the app, which isn't working anywhere in the JD Wheterspoon chain. This feature makes a difference for us customers. My husband and I loved this place and will definitely be back! Had a really in the hotel. I stayed for three nights while working in the area. The was great, well maintained and comfy. Food in the pub was excellent too well worth a Just a couple of lovely San Miguel pints in the sunshine Sehr netter Empfang- damit ist dann auch alles an Service erlebt gewesen. Real ale fairly good. No steaks the day we visited Stopped 1 night, value. Comfy clean and sized bathroom. Drinks are value. The breakfast was very with choice and very reasonable. Stunning place. Situated central. Parking is an issue. Perfect place for a cool beer Wonderful place to have both breakfast and dinner. Affordable prices and lovely ambience. Went there twice and will go again in future when I return to Ireland. Highly recommended restaurant/bar. Stayed here for 2 nights . When we arrived our door would not close properly so were immediately moved and helped in a very kind manner. The hotel is right beside a nice mall and not really far from city center . connection via the Swords express Bus. You can eat and drink here for very reasonable prices. Trad breakfast was 6 euro , I kid you not 😀 😀 It’s a nice place, very similar to other branches, however it does not have egg Benedicts as I was expecting. We had 4 orders of food with 2 coffee refills for 14 euros. deal for the price! was absolutely beautiful couldn't believe it,spotless to.thats all that matters.
