The place itself is awesome, and complex is not too big not too small but indiscreet. Everything is still new and in condition but service willing the best. First I made my booking month ago, and on my arrival my name wasn’t booked.(very disappointing). We (10 people) were waiting for 45 min to get one lane at least. While we were waiting we were planning to have some food or snacks at least. There’s no food at all, there is no alcohol at all. We only we were able to get it was an ice cream and coffee and also very very slow service. It was one member only working in all area. Automate and other playing facilities are very good, really interesting and different. We were trying to find members for help but it is the same as to lotto or bingo (lucky chance only). There is paying card system to or use playing activities and you can’t get any back, this is annoying too. The idea and place are really but hope that service will be much improved and hired more people then only we may go back for second time. Expensive arcades, not expensive ice creams, quite boring don't play. First and left after half an hour Great soft area, decent food, not Michelin starred but what do you expect, pizza, chips, sandwich etc.. decent coffee. The activation from adding credit onto your top up card which is necessary can take a while so just do it when you get in the door. Loads of space, plenty of variety of game's. I visited the Leisure Dome today for my son’s birthday with 6 and 3 adults. We spent over €350 on games and lunch and brought a small cake to celebrate. However, a member told us we weren’t allowed to have the cake there because there’s a designated birthday room for celebrations. Unfortunately, the birthday room was fully booked. If it had been available, I would have gladly used it since it would have been cheaper and more convenient. This left me very frustrated. It’s the first something like this has happened to me in Dublin. Usually, you’re allowed to bring a cake to any restaurant, and even store and serve it for you. To make matters worse, the coffee shop had only three working on a busy Sunday, so every order took a long time. For example, it took 10 minutes to get three cappuccinos, and there wasn’t even a queue. As a mother, I felt awful being treated like I was taking advantage of the venue just for trying to celebrate my son’s birthday. When they asked me not to serve the cake, I had already brought disposable plates and everything we needed. We even cleaned the table before and after using it. This whole was deeply disappointing. I hope this review can help other families in the future. Thank you. Wouldnt recommend what's so ever. Lots of issues including attitude towards customers. They hire children to run the place that dont know how to problem solve. Food is horrible. Escape rooms are probably the worst ones going. Try drogheda escape rooms or dublin city. Avoid, I sent a constructive email over 7 days ago & no reply. Very unprofessional Had a lovely here for a few hours with my two kids. It opens at 11 on Weekdays and we arrived around 12. I was worried it would be super busy due to rainy weather and summer holidays but the spacious area only had 10-12 or so. The arcade machines all seemed to be working properly and the place was clean. were very friendly and helpful as well. I got a coffee which was lovely, and the got meals which they enjoyed. The meals usually come with a juice box or bottle of water but I asked the employee for cups of milk instead and she happily obliged. The cafe give you a buzzer for when the food is ready so that made the dining stress free as we could and not have to stay close to the cafe to wait for food. Toilets were clean and spacious and had toilet roll. I found the top up cards for the arcade handy for my 9 year old…I prefer that to having to make change and use coins. Place is not maintained! My daughter just fell and hit her head on this exposed cast iron… anything but softplay! Also very dusty it wouldn't hurt to dedust the place! And invest in some air purifiers. Arcade games always out of order. The older woman working there, is the rudest most unprofessional person iv come across in year's, very unpleasant to deal with especially when you have young kids. And judging by a lot of the other reviews on here, many other people have had encounters with her. Today I dropped my boys to around 3.00pm and I went in their all electricity was gone. When electricity came back on after few minutes all their payment didn't work about 35-40 min. They accept only card payments which caused huge queue of people waiting with kids.I had a cash, but they declined payments. And receptionist didn't know if the system will work at all. Its busy weekend and bunch of disappointed children.Very disappointed that in situations like that they should accept payments. Its one of the days that prove that is the king! Because of the reason they don't accept payment I wouldn't go back. We had our son's 5th birthday here last weekend and it was such a great from beginning to end. Very efficient booking process online and excellent communication before the party. On the day we had an assigned host who kept everything running smoothly. The soft is spotless and the food was excellent. Thanks to Ruth and all the team for a great day. Yesterday was my first in the LeisureDome. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the service I received. I came to the Dome with several of my nieces and nephews. I approached the employee at the information desk before 11am. I was enquiring about the online Laser Tag slots and if 11am was available (keep in mind that it WAS available online.) She then, in an aggressive manner, told that there was a minimum of 4 players. I explained to her that a 4th player was arriving shortly and she completely disregarded me. She also told me 11am wasn't available as she was there on her own at the time. I then informed her that I was about to pay €40 for the slot online. I suggested she removed that slot from the website If that was the case. She rolled her eyes at me and said she was on her own and there was nothing she could do. I believed that was incredibly unprofessional and rude. My nephew also had a poor dealing with her later. I really believe her position should be reviewed. She was working at 10.30 am at the desk and I didn't get her name. She unprofessionally remarked us to her fellow employee. Aside from that, the machines in the building were fun and provided the laser tag server was quicker to work, it was also quite fun. I would return, but not if I was served by a member as unprofessional as her. I was at the soft today And everything was okay until me and My two-year-old little sister went into the ladies restroom, we were washing our hand and one of the male workers came in with nothing just himself looking around I grabbed my little sister and went into the restroom after 10 minutes. He finally left. I quickly tell my mom after so it was horrible and I don’t think that’s very good. There was a lot Female workers Everywhere so why couldn’t they come to change something? I’m only 16, so it was a really bad I used the Leisure Dome for the first today along with my aunt and my younger cousins. The lady who served us was incredibly rude and impolite. As it being our first time, we thought (change) was to be put in the machines as slots were fitted into the machines. We put in money and realised it hadn't gone in nor come back to us. We made our way to the desk where said lady was. I politely asked that if possible, we'd like our change back. She interrupted me and rudely told me about their 'Recharge Card'. I acknowledged that and then asked if it was possible to reclaim our lost change. She then tut'ed at me and said "Fine, just give me a minute as I have to take it out of my OWN money." I don't believe she was suited for her role at all and should look into finding a new job. I was in the establishment at around 11am. Laser tag server took 25 minutes to work, although the member who was assisting us was reasonably friendly. OTHER THAN THAT, great fun for all ages and arcade machines. Would return provided I'm not assisted by that malicious employee. Thanks. We had a brilliant family day out at Leisuredome in Ashbourne. The really loved the laser tag, bowling, soft play, and arcade. Plenty to keep them busy and burn off energy! The whole place was really clean, spacious and not too loud and the food and coffee were genuinely good, much better quality than you’d usually find at family entertainment centres. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a lovely addition to our holiday. Highly recommend!
