Lovely little beach, nice cliffs walk.. Beautiful scenery. Small country side Town car park right at the beach. However the parking is limited and mostly full especially weekends. You could still find off street parking up the road. This is perfect starting point for the martello tower hike loop. There are no shops or chippers in the immediate vicinity. There seems to be a stream that runs into the near the cliff Side. Its a perfect starting point for the martello tower cliff walk. It's was good day out at Loughshinny beach...Not too busy, quiet, had nice on the top if the cliffs and back. P.s. coming back often here, nice to sit at evening and enjoy the peace Beautiful! Limited parking if you're coming for a swim, and there are warning signs about contamination in the stream that feeds the bay though 😞 it's also the start of a nice along the cliffs past on roof the old Martello Towers Amazing place for a stroll. Quiet and safe. Free parking nearby. Good Amazing little place the Minute you drive down towards the harbour your back in time. Quaint, romantic, untouched by time. It not commercial in any way no shops just beauty. No loud amusements just sounds of waves and sea birds. Bring a picnic Take you're RUBBISH back home as you're thank you to such a beautiful contribution to your visit .Big problem with parking as you can imagine! Go early. Or down the road toward the beach. Not a big area but diffently a big Experience A little hidden gem. I have fond memories coming to loughshinny as a child with my parents and now I bring my children. Very beautiful place with a and views. Cosy fishing harbour is a great place to spend the day. Parking can be a problem, though, since there is not too much space. It’s a decent if you live in the vicinity and don’t want to travel far. The historical nearby isn’t interesting though as the views aren’t as great as some other walks in the city. Nice for a little :) but we did not find the public restrooms Calm Quiet beach. Not thronged with people. Great for smaller children. Beautiful small sandy in a small bay. Very scenic as there is small cliffs on one side and harbour on the other. I'd highly recommend it to anyone with kids for a quiet day at the see... as unlike many beaches in the area (Malahide Portmarnock or Skerries) it wasn't crowded at all. Nice quiet and harbour for a walk. Lovely day out, walked to Skerries and had pizza @littlerichards. is very quite, next time we’re packing lunch and chilling, might even hire a canoe!! Parking is limited though. Lovely place for a with the dog A great from Loughshinny to Skerries! Walking along the cliffs is stunning. It's nice that you don't need special hiking boots for it. Visited on 17th June 2024, car park is in front of the with few spaces. The is great for everyday walking and is a peaceful place to be. On the right hand side of the there is a walking stairs going through Martello Tower which I recommend as well. Wonderful small harbour with breathtaking up on cliff Love live loughshinny This is our local beach, walking distance from home. We love it. Low tide you can to the next beach, our dog loves it. Never too busy. Geologie vom Feinsten! Nice with a harbor. Had a good afternoon here. Very quiet.
