Excellent with the replica of the original tomb. The Aleksandrovo tomb is a Thracian burial mound and tomb excavated dated to c. 4th century BCE. Nice to explore the history. To get to the you have to rely on your navigation or a map because the place is not marked on the new Maritsa highway (so much about this country's focus on developing historical tourism :(. A replica of the is inside an exhibition building donated by Japan, itself an impressive piece of architecture. The original is situated a couple of hundred meters away from the building, sealed under its hill and not open for visitors. Very beautiful! Great discovery and recreation. Mind that the way to the parking is not well marked. But you'll find it :) За едри хора е трудничко да се промъкнат в копието на гробницата, но снимките по стените на музея са перфектни и дават много добра представа. Increíble lugar, vale la pena ir a visitarlo. La chica de recepción fue increíble, muy amable y nos informó de todo. One cannot buy tickets with credit card, reason unclear This is somewhat out of the way, but well worth a visit! A state of the art (funded by Japan) that offers three very interesting videos, then a visit to a small that includes some amazing gold items and a replica of the tomb. (The is far too fragile to allow visitors, it would be damaged beyond repair.) Very much enjoyed this, every Thracian is unique! Ιt was a small with an expensive ticket! However, the exhibits were interesting Remarkable place! A modern well laid out which contains a replica of the as the actual underground some 100m away is not visible or open to the public While its a nice, small museum, you cannot see the actual tomb. Not even go to the mou d. I understand not being allowed in due to its fragile nature, but rope off the mound so people can at least see it! Long way to go for very little payoff Fantastic reproduction of the lifesized , interactive whilst preserving the original intact. Only complaint is long distance from car park. I loved this place. A beautifully preserved/restored thracian with lots of information to read and digest. It was great that the language of the descriptions is available in Bulgarian, English and Japanese The good place . Clean .and full story . Really well laid out and informative museum. Well worth the visit Nice museum, beautiful modern building in a pleasant park, the glass entrance doors frame the view towards the hill where the original lies. The replica in the is a good experience, the frescoes are impressive and well explained by the exhibits. Nice artifacts from other sites too. Visit is recommended. The replicas available to visitors of the are fascinating, extremely detailed, and interactive so that you feel you are visiting the actual tomb, which is adjacent to, and not accessible from, the museum. The is a project developed with Japanese funding and the information available is very interesting. As the was entirely robbed, none of the artefacts are original to the tomb, and the main attraction is to understand the construction of the and the frescoes that give insight into the everyday lives of the Thracians. Make sure you have cash to pay for entry, as card is not accepted. Pensioners receive a discount. Много интересно място за посещение и много добро обслужване. Да благодарим на братята Японци за съдействието An important cemetery left from the Traks. It has been beautifully arranged with the support of the Japanese government, and it's worth seeing if you're passing by. The number of artworks inside is limited, so you can take a quick tour in 20 minutes.
