We booked two rooms, one family and one superior. Superior was a good size, large bathroom, nice decor. They have 2 family rooms. The one that they offered us first, we did not like. It was on the roof, with 2 tiny windows, very dark. But it was very big, I think 5 people can easily fit in there. Also it had kitchenette and large bathroom. Then we moved to another family room, number 5. It was amazing, very bright and tastefully decorated. This had a master and a smaller study with roll our sofa, table and Mac computer. The shower and toilet are separate and they are very spacious. They also have nice l’occitane shampoos and gels. The girls at the was very professional and polite. I would recommend this 100 percent! The location and accommodation were good, were clean. However, the is quite unexperienced, not trained at all (probably students), most of the time they don't seem to have any idea what they are doing and they also have to work the café next to the reception, so the was mostly vacant and you had to call somebody from the café, but that did not work well either, because either wouldn't hear you or they were busy serving up coffee and cake. They promised us to prepare us some to go for our last day, cause we were leaving very early. However, in the morning, there was nothing there. This boutique is in the best position of Varazdin, you are in 3 minutes at the corzo, the beautiful main square of the town; the terrace of the in front of the park is a real gem. The and the are pretty new and amazing, fascinating decorations and charme, everything is clean and all facilities are there; the is young and very nice, always helpful, but the is also overloaded with work: two or max. three persons deal with reception, big terrace outside, bar and cakes shop inside (also and mostly with external clients) the and the daily needs of the guests: all this at the same time. They try to cope and always do their best but more would be necessary; really has to improve, and the place for the buffet around the is not ideal at all and very small; a different organisation of the space would be much better. Coffee and cappuccino are really good. The bathroom in the suite is great, the shower is exceptionally large. Prices are good. We can recommend this hotel. The are upstairs and there isn't an elevator. It does have family rooms, and is included. The style is Croatian, and the palachenka (crepes) were excellent. The airco works well and silently! The beds have high quality matresses. is abundant: bread, fruit, vegetables, jam, spreads, cereals, cheese and cold cuts. Too much to eat! The is close to the old city centre (3 min. walk) and right across a green parc where one can stroll or relax in the shade of the trees. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. On top of that all, the Arbia Dorka in Varaždin has Ines, the nicest host anyone can wish for! Her kindness and her hospitality are a good reason to book another at this hotel.
