Rooms are mostly small but clean. The is also nice. (If you are vegan you won't have choice except some fruit). But if you eat everything you will have delicious breakfast. The location is great. Across The street is big supermarket, the centre and National Theatre is just few minutes of walk. It's better to stay there than in Hotel Varaždin. I tried both and the Maltar is better and cheaper. If I could give 10 stars, I would. FANTASTIC. Ample parking space in the backyard, nice, clean rooms with A/C, large with quality food, and above all, the nicest, kindest, and most smiling people we met in our trip through Mitteleuropa. The pension is located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone of the town centre, in front of a supermarket. The girl at the reception was very helpful and recommended an excellent local restaurant. Absolute value for your money. Rooms are very nice, cozy, with more then enough space (didn't take any photo - sorry) and beds are comfortable + pillows are very good. None of the reviews mentioned which was very good and offers value. Solid stay and definitely something I would recommend when you visit Varaždin - this is a place to go. Just the service and beds are so comfy . And also reception Lara and team so pleasant and helpful. My grandparents would be so stoked to know you look after us. Thank you again. Tom Cheap accommodation. Greate brekfast. More than a bit old fashioned, nothing changed in the past decade. Trust me I was there in 2011. Almost the same in interior. Great hotel very close to the city center and bus station. Clean, tidy and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It is a family run business so you feel home. Breakfast was continental with your request of freshly made omlett with your choice of tea or coffee and orange juice. On my last day they brought me cake and cookies and gave me a magnet of the city of Varazdin How sweet! Will definitely stay there again and again A very xperience. All the people were and warm. The room was good we slept very well. The eggs in the morning were cooked on the demand and really nice. Hvala First of all I want to say the waitresses are friendly and doing a good job, but the boss can be heard being rude to them and others. And apparently as seen on the photos he hasn’t changed the pipes since he opened the place. The rooms where great for 99€, you get what you get. Two beds, bathroom, TV, big fridge and a big wardrobe. The breakfast/food was awesome with great quality and great taste, eggs, croissants, mađaricas, bread and more… The location is pretty good in the middle of Varaždin near a Konzum. Big parking, great entrance and more… The service was practically the best, they greeted us with delicous orange juice, on the too. We can choose anything to eat for breakfast, and they make it handmade with love. On the checkout they gave me a Pansion Maltar fridge magnet. Great. For 99€ per day for two persons, i absolutelly recommend it. My students and I stayed at Maltar Pansion for the second time as part of the Erasmus program. The staff are so friendly and always ready to help with everything. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The is amazing. It is within walking distance to every part of the city.
