The service was polite an fast, but the wait for the dishes was a bit long, probably due to the fact we came in for a sunday lunch on a holiday. The dishes themselves were good and made with fresh ingredients, though we couldn't shake the feeling they were a bit overcomplicated - too many ingredients just slightly failing to come together and would in fact be better if kept simpler. This isn't a big issue though and the pricing, service and views more than make up for it. We'll be sure to visit again. Atmosphere is the best part of this restaurant. Vegetarian choice is very poor and boring. There is very impressive solar roof and parking with no one charging station for electric car. Absolutely the best in Međimurja. Along excellent food, the offers a large and selection of quality wines from winery Jakopčić, a local winery that in my opinion produces some of the better wines in Croatia. Special compliments to Muscat, which goes well with the phenomenal Međimurje gibanica. Pumpkin ice cream is also an unavoidable item that is definitely worth trying here. The professional staff has extensive knowledge of each dish they offer and each wine in their wine list, and their presentation will take your lunch or dinner to an even higher level. Vegetarian portions are small to average size, so if you are really hungry I think an extra dish would be needed. The service is very good, waiters are friendly and attentive. My favorite part was the view, it’s stunning!! Very nice place, medieval noble style, excellent food for amazingly low prices given food quality. As expected , it was worth traveling all the way to try their delicious Medjimurska gibanica. I've tried usual gibanica (that can be found all over Croatia) but this is another level! Loved it 😊.
