Nice promenade with plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants. There's a couple of small pebble beaches, too. It's nice but unfortunately a bit tacky and commercial in places. Lovely views of the town by day or by night. Lots of cafés, bars, restaurants along the promenade even in the winter months. It's enjoyable watching and listening to the movement of the sea as you gaze across the bay and all the way to Corfu. Very nice seafront area. Some nice places to eat, drink and shop. Some interesting Roman ruins to see. But a warning, the back streets of the town were a bit seedy, with strip clubs etc. We didn't spend much time there. So nice marina for walks and relaxing, u can enjoy the sound of the see and dont think about nothing. Its not so big and long,but everything in very good condition. If u coming to Saranda this place it's in list "must". Definitely recommend and u ll enjoy the moment. Lovely view at this Albanian port. Lots of lovely restaurants. However not much to do and restaurants do not have any English tea. My favourite bar in Saranda, from many many years and still is the same. The view is amazing and the food is delicious. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Is in the center of the beach area and you can see all the seaside views, party boats and a lot of traditional shops. Great vibes. We visited in October and it was busy but very chilled. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the promenade. The view of the harbour is beautiful especially at sunset. Saranda is the perfect base for different day trips: Ksamil is 30 minutes drive, the Blue eye about 40 minutes. From here you can also take a boat to Corfu and many other beauties beaches and islands. Nice place to have some drinks and eats. With beautiful beach views. At noon is great not too crowded.
