So unfortunately we had AWFUL weather. Very, very sad. Absolutely no at the top except a wall of grey. That’s the three star review for me; nothing to do with the beauty of the site. I can’t understand why people are not smart enough to simply research you have to get to the area Llanos de la Cruz for shuttle pickup, as you can’t park right at the rock entrance. What SHOULD be posted on the booking website (it’s free to enter the site) is the bus schedule. I happened to find it on another Google review. The bus is €1.40 each way and you can pay by card. The hiking path up the mountain isn’t difficult but slippery on the rocks when wet. Magnificent through the forest hills to get to the top. Approximately 30 min filled with endless beautiful panoramic views. So glad we did it. Definitely recommend it. Fantastic scenery! It has nothing to envy to the Grand Canyon, only the driving is more difficult due to small roads and sharp curves. The drive is kind of long as it’s not recommended and dangerous to speed. Many cute little villages to make stops as well as viewpoints. This stop has very limited places. It has a truck selling water, sweets and sandwiches. The hike/walk is not difficult but it needs a good pair of shoes as the way has many rocks. Sandals are not your best friend here. It’s kind of cold and a light jacket or pullover will help. The mountain area is very big and it is very to spend a whole day. The Roque is fantastic. The is not. They blocked the old car park so that now everybody has to leave their cars along the road. Very beautiful place with a nice view. If you come after 5, it will be free entry Beautiful spot, BUT you need to visit official website in advance. Of course you can't access the spot if there's a risk of wildfire. So read instructions carefully and follow them. There're nice picnic area next to the spot (maybe 1 kilometre away) We took a from the to the Roque Nublo (around 5 km hike). The route was quite good and well marked. Remember to reserve the slot (it is free of a charge) as they are checking this before the entrance. There is also no anymore nearby the roque, so You need to take the bus ( it is driving couple of times per day) or a hike. We took the bus in our way back to the parking, it is 1 stop (around 10 minutes, costs 1,4€). We liked the place, You can go around the rock and seat nearby to rest or eat something, there is a little bit of shade as well. Nice place. Sadly, weren’t directly at the Roque Nublo, because we didn’t know you have to book your frame in advance. BE AWARE OF THIS! I think it’s not well known yet. The palaces were closed on Sunday, so it was very difficult to find a place to park next to the road. You can do a nice in the surroundings as well, and you can see the Roque Nublo from there. Roque nublo is worth a visit. Just be aware that you need a registration in advance to enter the hike! The itself is and takes 30-60 minutes, depending on your speed. The is amazing, the 4 star rating is just because of the registration, we didn't know that we need it, and had to do it directly at the entrance with an waiting for about 45 until we have been allowed to enter If you don't have a car, you can use the bus number 18 if you're are traveling from Playa de Ingles area. The buses don't run often and the route there with the bus is not the best. We had prebooked our trail but arrived 1 hour and 30 early, and thankfully they let us enter 1 hour earlier. There is absolutely nothing around there which I would have thought there would be a coffee shop or a Souvenir store but there is only a small van selling a few local things and that's it. So if you'll have to wait for your good luck with that 😆 The itself is not too hard. It's moderate level due to some steep climbing if you go all the way to the top. It took us about an hour to climb up (with a few stops for pictures) and 30 to go down. Bring lots of water and if you're not in a rush you can sit down and enjoy the with a few snacks. The climb is worth it, the are amazing!! 😍😍 Overall, it's a once in a lifetime check point and even though i hated the bus journey it was worth it. They say you need a reservation for a specific if you enter through the main Mirador de la Goleta entrance. I didn’t know that because I came in through the forest from the Aparcamiento Cruz de Juan Pérez lot — marked “SOLO VEHÍCULOS AUTORIZADOS” (authorized vehicles only). I parked on the roadside where there were dozens of cars, even though there were yellow lines. The up took me about 45 minutes, and coming down was around 25. The are beautiful, and from there you can even see the nearby island of Tenerife. If you enjoy hikes, this one is really for everyone — it’s not difficult at all. A wonderful place and fantastic and panoramas. The road to the top is also amazing and enchanting with its beauty. The only big minus is the lack of spaces. This complicates the excursion and leads to stressful situations. If you want to park your car near the lot near the cliff, I recommend you arrive early in the morning. Short (2.45mi round trip), somewhat rough up to some of the most amazing views. We parked near the trail head in Feb but in a busy season this will likely be a mob scene. You do need to get a reservation online to do the hike. There is a bus from Tejada. Absolutely spectacular. We are lucky on the day as well that the cloud cover was very high, meaning we got a spectacular for miles around of the mountains. There is limited and it is a sensible from the car parks. As others have mentioned, sensible footwear is a must, as it will severely limit your ability to enjoy this spot otherwise. 100% recommend as part of a trip around this part of the island. Amazing from the top of the mountain. Very hot and dry though so if you’re going to take one of hikes bring plenty of water. Very recommended experience, even for 4yo kids, with nice along the way. Reservation required, 9-10 reserva means you can start from the beginning even at 9:55, no need to be there 9 sharp. Very nice and rewarding but if you are not in the best shape this is quite hard to climb and then descend. It’s definitely not as as all these google reviews tell you it is. It also took us almost 2h to up and down, even if it is only 1.5km long. Also it becomes cold and windy as you climb so make sure you bring a jacket. Hiking the trail up to Roque Nublo was an unforgettable experience, not just for the iconic Nublo itself, but for what might be the best of my personal favorite—Roque Bentayga and its breathtaking basin. The trail starts off easy, winding through stunning landscapes that feel otherworldly, but it becomes slightly more challenging toward the end. That final climb to the highest point is absolutely worth it, as the of Bentayga in all its sacred beauty is truly awe-inspiring. Its a very beautiful place and its to reach there one can park car and take a shuttle bus till the rouge nublo…. The is moderate level we did it our one year old kid and it was super fun and amazing experience… if you want to carry baby with have enough food for baby and baby carrier for shoulder The is quite steep, so be ready to sweat. If you’re not wearing proper hiking shoes, it can get slippery at times.
