A pleasant little establishment which retains a bygone atmosphere. Food and service was good. If you were lucky enough to come here on a warm day you can sit outside with a nice view of the river. I went with the bangers and mash ... a classic ... this was THE best bangers and mash ever. Absolutely lovely. 110% such nice flavors. So fresh and tge sauce ... yum . The pints of Guinness were exceptional – creamy, smooth, and perfectly poured, easily among the best I’ve enjoyed anywhere. The food was very good, with hearty portions and fresh flavours that complemented the drinks nicely. It’s a bustling little spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It can get busy, so you might have to wait a short while for a table or your order, but the quality makes it well worth the wait. A great choice for anyone looking for top-notch Guinness and a good meal in a lively setting. Absolutely charming place, atmosphere, good food (we had fish and chips, portions were smaller than other places, but for us it was just right) and great to see, it's dog friendly 😀 Stopped by this place on the way to Hook Lighthouse. Very close to ferry dock. Super fresh fish and amazing chips, washed it down with extra delicious pint of Guinness. seating outside and great inside. Fantastic service! Had a meal here, had the Thai red curry, was very hot, would have liked to have been told its spicy. Was still very tasty just lots more water required!!! Also 3 of the most popular items were not avail, obviously had a busy day. Staff were lovely, nice atmosphere, might have been nice with a little music in the eve. Overall very enjoyable evening My sister and I brought our 84-year-old disabled mother here for her birthday lunch. The restaurant had reserved a table, knowing Mother is in a wheelchair. The food was spectacular. I had the healthy option of a spicy beef salad; Mother had fish and chips; my sister had their gorgeous chicken curry. There was music, a great atmosphere, warm, friendly staff, 10/10 food, and it was not overly priced. For three of us, one starter, three main courses, two desserts, one coffee, two sodas, one sparkling water, and one glass of wine, all came to under €80.
