So we spent our allotted just in one corner. In Splashworld Tramore, swimming rings are not permitted (apparently). Which lead to them being left behind, at the counter with a member of staff. In our 40 minutes wait, before our slot. My sister had inflated 2 swimming rings at the reception area infront of staff. Not once were we told that they would not be allowed in the pool area. In additional, no signage stating this. The day of and next day, my sister rang to confirm they still had them and arrange there pickup. To be told, they had been thrown in the bin instead of being held aside to be collected. Had a great family swim there in the last week. Slides were open for the older kids which they loved and the lifeguards and reception staff were very nice. Could do with a clean up especially the changing rooms but great fun for kids Looks like the place hasn’t been updated in about 20 years. Possibly the smallest lazy river I have ever seen, bigger ones in my bath. Stairs going up the slide is wobbling. Dressing rooms are a joke. If you’re going close your eyes and you might have a good then. Had a great there today with 4 kiddies all under 7 yrs old water was warm, everything was working and clean. Staff very kind and plenty of life guards on duty. Kiddies can’t wait to go back…. It's a nice pool but for the price I'd expect a whole day of swimming. Not one hour. Absolutely filthy in swimming pool and dressing rooms. Child found two plasters in baby pools. Adult Swimming pool was so cold the toddlers lips and arms were blue. Needs renovation and a lot of cleaning. Pool also doesn’t smell of chlorine. Travelled an hour with a very excited child only to be turned away and told there’s been a Misprint on the timetable by an unbothered staff member with no remorse. Left with a sad child and dissapointment.
