Picnic areas and lovely long walks. Lovely small museum and great park. All is neat and well kept and we enjoyed a quite afternoon at the place. The park was not crowded when we visited and could enjoed a quite walk through the park. There is a cover d outdoor area at the café, which was helpful because of the Irish weather. The arboretum ideal for a relaxing day out in nature. This lovely place is a maze, never been before, thought it was going to be just a regular park to walk. So many paths to explore. Really enjoyed it 😊 Surrounded with beautiful trees and flowers 💐 There are two exhibitions - one about President Kennedy and the other about an Arboretum. Extremely interesting. There is a walk which takes you round all the different species of trees and also a cafe. Nice walk for few hours, friendly with dogs place, toilets are clean Spent several hours wandering around the arboretum. The rhododendrons were amazing and in full bloom when we were there. Nice cafe on site. Plenty of parking for motorhomes if you need to know that. Would definitely recommend. Very enjoyable day overall. Had a lovely cup of coffee in the cafe, walked around the park viewing the beautiful trees, shrubs etc., before Shelly o Grady treated us to her beautiful harp playing.
