Such a relaxing experience! The staff is super and helpful, it can be seen that they love what they do! The whole atmosphere helps you to forget about the everyday rush. The route is lovely and scenic, very relaxing! Excellent way to observe the local wildlife! The little lovely railway is very well maintained and the staff really knows what they are doing in terms of safety, operations and you know, just giving you a good time. Their cafe is top notch too! The selection is not very large, but what is there is delicious and fresh! You will surely find something for your taste. Try their toasted sandwiches, just saying... =D They are heavenly. All in all, a super experience! I can recommend them from the bottom of my heart! One thing was abundantly evident. The overgrowth of weeds and grass on the line. It really took away from the look of the Kilmeaden station and the full length of the track. only goes some of the distance if not travelling on a Saturday. Diesel only for now. Cafe, parking and shop pretty good. Lovely view along the ride. Very friendly and helpful staff. Better to purchase tickets online, weekends may be busy. No too much to see just a new for kids. 20 minutes up and 20 to return through the same route. Very good way to the Waterford country side with young or elderly parents. Tickets in advance always better drive till here and park for free. You could also cycle along the route Highly recommend for all age groups. We don’t get to on a vintage rail often. You could get the tickets at the counter as well, check their website for availability. It wasn’t crowded on Monday at this of the year. would love the and an overall enjoyable for adults too, lovely views of the River Suir and other spots on the greenway. I’d suggest to prepare a mini picnic to while you are on the ride. Rail crew were friendly and welcoming. Really day trip, was the perfect length of time, scenery around and really fun overall! for every age group and really to something different. Highly recommend! Cafe on site where you can buy tickets and bathrooms on site too. We loved our on the choo-choo train! It was so much fun chugging along next to the big river. For something different to do this summer, come to Waterford and take a trip down memory lane on this vintage 🚆 using an old railway track 🛤 no longer in use by the national rail network. Well worth a visit which last 40mn. You will see a different Waterford you don't see normally from the city centre. Ooh yeah you will see the magic trees 🌳 on the way. We had a fantastic time! The staff were very friendly, and the site offers convenient amenities like a café, toilets, and parking. It's a day out for families and friends, with something to for all age groups. The itself offers beautiful sights along the way, making it a memorable experience. It’s a unique and fun visit, perfect for those looking for something different to do on a day out in Waterford. Highly recommend! We were two adults, a toddler and a dog and had a time. Definitely a thing to do with and it was we could bring the hound too! There’s a cafe on site and plenty of parking. We went on a wet day but were dry in the ‘partially covered’ (or something like that!) cabin. We did the Santa Express with my 1.5 year old son this year, it was brilliant. Very well organised and magical for the kids. We can't wait to go again next year Lovely little railway views and a little cafe as well. Very enjoyable. The loved it . 10/10 trip for kids. The individuals running the attraction were beyond friendly. Had met a friend to walk in the Greenway and coffee.
