Great hike with astonishing views The hike up to the top of Hochobir is well rewarding. On a good day you’ll have the lost magnificent views all over Carinthia. From Großglockner to the Julian Alps. On a clear autumn day you’ll be able to see the Adriatic see. You can drive up to Eisenkappler Hütte, from there it’s only one and a half hours to the top. Or if you like a challenge you can take one of the longer trails from the bottom. Beautiful hike! Awesome view. Go there and get yourself good weather. You will not regret it because you will be rewarded with a pittoresque view of Carinthia, if you are lucky you might even see the Großglockner (however, I cannot promise you). Amazing hiking spot. Kurz nach einem Wetterunterstand erreicht man die Baumgrenze. Danach gibt es einen tollen Ausblick bis hin zum Großglockner. Auf der anderen Seite sieht man die Karawanken. Für Familie gut geeignet.
