Interesting and unique! The glass elevator provides not only convenience to visitors but also for special experience to the view of fields. Strong middle age atmosphere has been remarkably remained that probably because many valuable things have been well preserved. Nemaipomenita locație încărcata cu istorie străveche.Recomand It’s an absolute gem! Perched dramatically on a hilltop, it offers breathtaking panoramic of the surrounding countryside. The climb up through its 14 fortified gates is a unique experience, and the well-preserved architecture makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Inside, the small and charming courtyards add to the castle’s historic charm. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves history, stunning landscapes, and fairytale-like castles! Top to Visit Recommend to All castle, well maintained, lovely gardens. Great vistas. Worth visiting. A powerful from the outside, the view is wonderful from the top. But the fee is very high for basically nothing, one room and a restaurant, even the most basic shops, we were surprised and not in a good way, we have already been to castles with a lot of investment that had something to see... The is set in a natural surrounding and is impressive through the number of gates you have to go through to enter it (or conquer it in the Middle Ages). The tickets are quite expensive (we paid 77 euro for a family of 3 with one-way access included). If you purchase 2-way access, they are going to be more expensive. You can also climb and descend on foot, in which case the tickets will be a little cheaper. There were 2 exhibitions in the main castle: a permanent one, which looked a bit dusty and old-school, telling the history of the and the family owning it. The temporary exhibition was dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, and costed extra. There are also a restaurant serving local specialties, toilets and a gift shop. Most defense towers and gates are either permanently closed or under renovation, so they cannot be visited. You can have some amazing of the surrounding areas from the top level. Sehr schöne und vor allem gut erhaltene Burganlage. Die Wanderung auf die Burg ist nicht zu unterschätzen, aber es lohnt sich allemal. Eintrittskarte nicht zu teuer. The medieval is one of the most in Austria. You can take the elevator, or you can hike up, which takes about 30 minutes. A beautifully preserved in surroundings. The exhibitions and the sights of the are both worth a detour if you go there. The restaurant is simply perfect. The main dishes and desserts reflect a traditional taste. We had a great time and recommend everyone to check this place out! We paid over 90€ for a family ticket. This was an absolute waste of money. The view from the bottom and the top is amazing, but this is it. For 90€ they could at least bother to put signs in English, but no, not a single one. Not an explanation or stuff to talk to. On the top, there are couple rooms you can see from behind metal gates, and then there is a gift shop and a restaurant. There is also a museum, but we could not enjoy it cause we don’t speak German. Great and great view! It is really beautiful, up in the is a Cafe, there is also a lift, but I think you have to pay for it. It is a nice walk up to the castle. I recommend! Also? There is a nice souvenir shop. :) All 14 of 16th Century fortified gates fascinated me with their individual artifacts and historical information boards, and offered a convenient pause to the reasonably steep 600m+ walk, ascending up over 600m above sea level to the panoramic from the castle; sufficient free parking at thw base. The food, drinks and toilets were welcome. The inner rooms, especially the and collection of military armoury, were well worth the ascent. The working smithy was an added bonus. A superb way to get your steps and exercise in, at your own pace, whilst enjoying stunning panoramic on the way up, spiralling fully 360° around the rocky mountain side. I'm looking forward to experiencing one their evening fest events next! Good if you have time for this kind of attraction. Parking is free. Best to see the Tors Not to take a lift....or if you're a so lasy to take ...then you can see Tors by walking down. Bellissimo se siete in zona passateci assolutamente ne vale la pena castello mantenuto in maniera impeccabile e molto buono anche il localino al suo interno per una birra o qualcosa da mangiare Really castle. We took the up but I feel it was too expensive for a family of four. I would recommend walking up. We ended up walking down which gave us some of the most scenery of Austrian countryside. The is also quite nice. For an extra Euro, you can do a Davinci based attraction. My only wish was if we could tour inside the castle. Overall it's a great place to visit. So we came here from Ljubljana, it’s a lovely drive over the mountains. It was 47 euros for the family or 87 if we took the Funicular. We spent 47 and walked up, it was an easy walk with a lot to see on the way, so defo recommend. A lovely restaurant and coffee shop at the top! Stunning too! A special place where the ancient history still lives on. Could get 5 stars when the becomes updated. The are stunning. The food is also good and affordable considering the location. Can however be difficult to find a parking. Before you pay the ticket, I have to ask you think about it!! It’s a place and good view, and the from outside looks nice. 97% doors are all locked!!! You will NOT really see the inside!!! BUT—— that’s is! I have visited so many castles in Europe, this is the most disappointing one… when I finished it, I felt it like a joke. You pay 18 euro you will only see a room with some armors and weapons, which you will finish with in 10 mins, then it’s the 1 euro extra da Vinci show, which even much bigger than the real museum. You will not see any real room in the castle, almost no furnitures, it’s not like a really should be. It’s cheating … I guess they used all ticket income for outside or the shop maintenance. Anyway, not worth to visit this if you really want to see a castle!!! The most I've ever seen. The path on foot can be a little bit challenging in the scorching summer sun, but it's definitely worth it! I highly recommend it to everyone visiting. There is a on top! Awesome castle, incredible views. Engineering marvel. Good da vinci display when we went. Entry is a bit pricier, but the is totally worth it. The walk to the top is easy, no need to take the (except for visitors with health impairment). Adequate parking right by the gate. Restaurant at the top was a pleasant surprise, decent food and prices not through the roof. The place was not super crowded and you can comfortably buy tickets at the spot. Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
