When I went there I asked they first politely if I can pay by card (I Think card may be an international word) as I don’t have cash (short transit only). Woman didn’t understand a word in English so I asked if maybe she speaks other languages that I do as well, but she just lough and say ,,Latvian only”. I said ,,ok but I’m a tourist I don’t speak Latvian unfortunately” and then I heard ,,Latvian, we don’t speak English here” with a really rude expression on her face but finally in English of course. First time I met that kind of rude person. I would even order food trying to show them what I want manualy but the main think was if they accept payments by card. People, please, I know that not everyone should speak English and I’m perfectly fine with that, it used to happen a lot during my other trips that a lot of people didn’t speak English but we could come to the point easily but this time… is it that hard just even pretend you are a little bit nice when you work with people (and maybe tourists) and even if you really don’t speak English still try to help for a person who came here to spend some money in your restaurant?
