Great concert venue with good acoustics and nice, helpful staff. There were also 2 very interesting expositions while I was there. The building is quite new still and it has very colorful and artsy architecture. It is nice to look at from a distance as well. The area around the venue is well kept and renovated as well; a lot of stuff to see around there. The food came very fast, service was good. I really enjoyed Milfeulle - it was amazing and by far the best I have ever had. Picture included. The main was well decorated and flavours were good, but the meat itself was too dry. Modern architecture with multiple cultural functions in the middle of the town full of history. Worth dropping for the gallery or cinema or by at least for a coffee in an elegant cafe. Visited cinema. The place is new, comfortable and pleasure to be in. One of the best cultural places in Latvia! The interior and exterior is great. There is two theatre rooms a big one and a small one. The small one is used for the cinema and the big one is for concerts and plays. There is also a restaurant which is pricy and small but cosy and delicious. In the whole building works nice staff. The toilets were also really clean. While walking around you could see some art pieces set up. Also there’s two wardrobes where you can leave your jackets. Overall a wonderful place to visit. Excellent sinergy of culture, esucation and culinary. Beautiful place inside and outside the building. Loads of space enough for everyone. Got a lovely restaurant upstairs which is not really expensive and also cinema downstairs. There is loads of entertainment and events going on. It nice to have a day out with friends or family. It really close to Rimi supermarket and also not far from city centre.
