Actually free to visit and free car park too 🙂 This is one of the highlights of Orfű. A must-see. One could find an old watermill and a papermill here with in beautiful condition. You could also buy freshly baked authentic bread, if you apply for it in advance. In the Garat, next to the there is always some handmade cake and beer on two taps from the neighboring brewery in Magyarhertelend. This is also the place to apply for the tours in the held twice or three times a day. Furthermore, if you're lucky enough there is live music or something on the weekends. Three well preserved meters from each other. A water powered paper mill, a water powered grain mill, and an animal powered 'dry' mill for grain and oils. Neat exhibitions. Kids liked it. Great coffee and pastry (same as in Jókai Cukràszda of Pécs), clean washrooms. Perfect handmade bread loaves. Superb to see :-) Came here on a national holiday and off season. Interesting story, nice guide answering all our questions. Good family program. You can even see how the work. After the guided tour don’t forget to try the gulyás soup, it’s amazing. Great place, one can learn about old paper and grain milling practices. Zsombor gave us a great introduction. Arrive on time for the guided tour.
