Small but somewhat interesting A great glimpse to a traditional Albanian living room, with an incredible archeological collection of coins from 25+ centuries ago. Being a relatively small museum, it is surely worth a visit, if you are interested in historical artifacts and heritage. It was a nice house overall but the part was very low quality. There were missing lights on the artifact displays and they were very messy even though there are important things. The signs were very low quality and pixelated also gave little to no info about the objects. There were objects worth seeing in the garden aswell but they were poorly preserved(most of them had trash inside). If you want to see a traditional albanian house i say go for it but dont expect a high quality museum. Such a cool little museum. Extremely authentic and contains some truly amazing artifacts. The building looks modest but is full of treasures and the story of culture in Skodër. Outside were a bunch of beautiful cats. The staff were friendly. This is a good way to learn about the local history. Nice little museum, but the lights were not working and most exhibits didn't have any description. Still worth visiting because it's very cheap and close to the city center. It is a half-timbered building built in Ottoman Turkish architecture. The contains interesting historical pieces about the thousands of years of history of the region. It is small but I recommend you to stop by. Hidden down a street of the main road of Skoda. This quaint hosts a small treasure of historical artefacts dating back up to 8000 years ago. We were intrigued by the items in this collection and were pleasantly surprised with what we saw. A nice stop if you’re in Shkoder and good value considering the 200 Lek admission fee. Other than the art exhibition and some coins there is not much to see, if you have 2€ and are passing through you can check it out but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.
