I visited M’Kanda Gelateria and overall had a decent experience, though not without its flaws. I ordered an affogato, expecting a nice blend of hot espresso and cold gelato. Unfortunately, the espresso part was quite weak and didn’t add much depth or richness to the dessert. It felt like an afterthought, and I almost forgot I ordered it. The balance between coffee and ice was off, which took away from the affogato experience. That said, the gelato itself was enjoyable. It had a smooth, creamy texture and a good selection of flavors. While not the most outstanding gelato I’ve ever had, it was fresh and pleasant. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes, which made it a good value overall. The were polite and the environment was clean and welcoming. Still, there was nothing particularly memorable that would make me rush back or give a five-star rating. It’s a solid local spot for a sweet treat, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially when it comes to coffee-based items like affogato. I’d rate it 4 stars — worth a visit, but not quite exceptional. Wow!! The best in town, skip the rest, do straight to this Gelateria! It was so good, we came by multiple times and the two ladies working there are so kind and nice. We are soon coming back to Shköder, so we'll make another stop here!! They make a great cappuccino and the affogato was really wonderful.👌 Also the extraordinary shlushes are delicious. 🫶 Sure will be back to this place several times during my stay in Shkodër. Wonderfully charismatic store. You are drawn inside by the beautiful colours of the facade and the ice does not disappoint. A fantastic array of lactose free/vegan options which we happily devoured at a great price. The are informative, engaging and friendly. A must visit in Shkoder. The dog is maximum cuteness, even licked my hand, be aware though for some reason is not so friendly with small kids :) The couple are passionate about what they do and take pleasure in doing the ice and the cone by themselves from scratch. Passing nearby you can feel the scent of the cinnamon, stepping inside feels even better like you are swimming in it. If you have few minutes and want something of an artwork delicious and healthy you won't regret it. It might even make you come back. Happy to discover this place. Thank you so much for your service! I highly recommend the hazelnut or dark chocolate The ice flavors are absolutely amazing! They have a great choice of vegan flavours! We had pistachio, mulberry and mojito! They taste exactly like what they're supposed to: rich, intense, and totally authentic. Nothing artificial at all, just pure, real flavour. We're seriously impressed! Highly recommend pistachio! The juice is freshly pressed and you can choose from different ingredients! Optional with some ice cubes in it. The coffee is available with oat milk and comes in a sweet cup! DELICIOUS!
