A truly place. The is clear and perfect for swimming. The staff is incredibly courteous and helpful. The food is mostly regional, tasty, and reasonably priced. We here to be as close as possible to the Koman Reservoir for a trip to the Shala River. We will never forget this stay. The only criticism is that the Wi-Fi in the chalet was down most of the time. That didn't bother us much, but it doesn't deduct points for that. We enjoyed our at Agora Farmhouse. The room was decorated simply but tastefully, and the staff was kind and welcoming. The sound of crickets, cicadas, and frogs at night lulled us to sleep, which was very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the shower actually had a curtain (unlike other places we’ve stayed). The chickens were fun, the cat was sweet, and the dragonflies & other bugs on the property really brought us back into nature. The AC was a nice option for the warmer nights. The breakfast was also nicely prepared and we liked the banana bread. Not that much variation, but that goes for most of the guesthouses we’ve in. Another honorable mention is the free washing machine where we could wash our clothes and hang them out on the drying rack. There were also a few improvements we would recommend. Firstly, there were no curtains in the room where we stayed, so if you prefer to sleep in, make sure to bring an eye mask. The sound insulation also wasn’t the best, as we could hear the people downstairs talking until late. It would’ve been nice if there had been some hammocks or relaxing chairs around the property for people not camping. The prices for the boat tours and kayak rentals were kind of pricey, in our opinion, and the kayaks we rented weren’t in the best condition. Though to be fair, we got the last ones left, so we didn’t get the ones that were in the best condition. We also didn’t have the best experience with the dinner there, as we felt it was much more expensive than other options in the area, and not as high quality. We also had a strange situation with one of the waiters. We had messed up the bill one night and forgotten to tip, but once we realized it, we gathered the money to tip him the next day. However, before we got the chance to do so, he barely acknowledged us and acted standoffish. Once we gave him the forgotten tip, his tune completely changed. I understand that a small tip is expected, but mistakes happen, and you should still treat customers well regardless. Apart from this, the waitstaff was really friendly and kind. Overall, we had a nice and still give it 4 stars. The nature is truly beautiful. We have visited this place spontaneously in May and booked a camping spot for our mini van. The staff was very friendly and we felt welcome immediately. The food from their restaurant is outstanding, we were a big fan of their traditional cuisine with local ingredients from their organic garden. We've also loved that they're dog-friendly and that we had some visitors. 🐛🐍🐈🐔 With the lake/river view, that place has been one of our favourite spots in Albania. ✨💚🌿 Lovely tranquil location and well presented accommodation. Tasty breakfast and dinner and helpful staff, especially the young boy helping out for the summer.
