Cliche was definitely one of the best food experiences I’ve had in Shkodër! They have so many options to choose from, either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also good coffee. And prices are not very expensive. I also liked the interior, it’s stylish and bright. The waitress was polite but a bit slow, we had to wait a long time to get our bill (probably because there were a lot of people in the restaurant that morning). You can pay by card here, which is an unusual thing for Albania but very convenient for tourists like me. Highly recommend this place! The atmosphere is vibrant and the space is modern. The food was mediocre and not worth it. 400 lek for a bowl of noodles that had no flavour, a few pieces of carrots and broccoli, and dry cubes. The burger was better, a little more flavour. There’s a lot of smoking on the patio that drifts into the indoor dinning area so be aware of that if that’s an issue for you. The service is very slow. It is a busy place so they’re trying to keep up. They did forget drink orders and they never came back with them. The wraps were really nice, i can recommend the vege one. The coffee was too, the one with cinnamon. Food is average and more expensive than other places. The gave me something I didn't and couldn't eat. No offer to correct bill. Half the menu takes 25mins+ even though it's just a salad. A great business should focus on offering what the customer wants rather than insisting on what they prefer to provide. For example, if a customer requests only chocolate and not pistachio, the preference should be respected rather than being encouraged to take something they didn’t ask for. This flexibility is something that could make the experience even better and more customer-friendly. Additionally, the waitstaff should adopt a more relaxed and accommodating approach. If an is incorrect, customers should not feel pressured to accept it. Service with a more customer-oriented mindset would enhance the overall experience. Lastly, I believe expanding the menu with more options would be beneficial to cater to a wider range of preferences. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, but with a few adjustments, it could become even better. Very good love the food. The dishes have these perfect balance between meat vs grains/rice. We are regulars at Clichè and eat there very often. I recently tried their Avocado Omlette and it has become my new favorite brekfast. It comes at a great price too. Absolutety recommended. 10/10. Had an EXCELLENT dining experience here. Stumbled upon this restaurant to escape the crazy 40 degree heat and was met with a lively atmosphere, amazing air con and funky interiors. Went twice during our stay in Shkoder, staying four hours both times and was treated cordially both times and not asked to leave early or give up our table. The food was cheap and cheerful - the first day Karen ordered a vegetable wrap which she liked and was only 270 LEK 🤯. I ordered a salad which was fresh and not stingy at all on ingredients (see the photo of the $15 worth of walnuts I was served talk about value for money 🤣). The next day we both wraps (Karen a Cesar and me a spinach and cheese which was served in little mouth sized slices) - both were delish. Great spot to come for a break if you’re in Shkoder!! Extensive range of food (and particularly vegetarian) options, a very welcome change if you've been travelling for a while and want some simple but colourful veggies! I had the quinoa bowl without chicken. It was 10/10 - fresh ingredients, huge portion, great ratios, nutritious. My partner enjoyed a wrap and Nutella fruit crepe. Such reasonable prices. The outdoors area is very loud (music & fans) which makes conversation challenging If I could give zero stars, I would. The place and the food were not bad, but our experience was ruined by one of the waiters (his name is Ereon). He was extremely disrespectful — he made offensive remarks about my country and my people. His behavior was so unpleasant that we genuinely felt uncomfortable and even afraid.
