Dobrovoľníci sa snažia, postupujú pomaličky ale isto, hrad dostava svoje črty ktoré dávno stratil. Je to veľká odvaha chodiť po takých provizórnych častiach "lešenia". Veľká vďaka za záchranu pamiatky. Z hradu sú krásne výhľady. My sme mali daždivé počasie aj to malo svoje čaro. Wonderful place to visit even during the winter. The itself is going through reconstructions, but is a nice hike. I don't recommend walking from the nearby village Oponice, but from the opposite side from Horne Lefantovce. You park by the B&B called dolina, and follow the road to a field. Just follow "Lesna cesta" the walk is less steep and slippery, with only a small climb. Watch for a sign "Hrad" (Castle) when it feels like you're about to go downhill. The is moderately well kept thanks to the efforts of the locals since the year 2000. It has multiple "forest toilets" and you can bring something to grill and eat since there are multiple fireplaces.
