Walking around a is a way to get to know it. Doing it with a like Anna means you get the associated with the sights and the stories that explain how the came to be and what shaped its development. You also get to understand the architectural highlights and some of the cultural norms of the you are visiting. And you get to ask the questions that you want the answers to. Anna provided all of this with a smile and a sense of humour Salvatore (“Salvo”) introduced us to the historically rich of Palermo in the best possible way! His deep knowledge of the city’s and culture kept us completely engaged as we explored its many fascinating neighborhoods. Salvo’s energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and his excellent English made everything easy to follow and enjoyable. He also shared insider tips on what to see next and where to eat — the kind of advice that makes a trip truly special. We only wish we hadn’t been booked up, because it would have been wonderful to experience even more of Palermo with him! Highly recommended! We had a experience with Margita as our when visiting Riga. We booked a 3 hour walking with her to show us around, and tell us about the place and the history. Margita showed us some fabulous buildings and some brilliant pieces that I don’t think we would have found or seen ourselves. Loved the crazy silver man, the spiral staircase and all the beautiful buildings. We also went to a fabulous coffee shop that was incredibly unique. Margita brought things to life for us and loved the stories that she shared. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Riga! We had an unforgettable of Venice with Loris, our amazing WithLocals guide. He brought the city’s rich to life — Loris has a gift for storytelling and knows all the hidden corners that make Venice magical. He also happens to be a sommelier — so we ended with delicious wine and cicchetti, the perfect Venetian touch. Plus he took fantastic photos of our group throughout the tour! If you're looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and fun guide, book Loris. You'll see Venice through a whole new lens. Chefchaouen (Blue City) tour--October 15, 2025: We loved our customized of Tangier with professional Thami of Withlocals, so we decided to book him again for a visit to Chefchaouen. Just the two of us. Thami promptly met us at 9 a.m., as promised. Again, we hit the jackpot. Thami took care of everything: car rental (very new and comfortable), the driver, and our enlightened educational conversations to/from were worth their weight in gold. He is so well versed in the and culture of his country that one hardly notices that he is doing his job. It's more like having a good chat with an old friend. But he is truly a walking encyclopedia. The drive itself was worth every penny. Absolutely beautiful country. And once we arrived at our destination, Thami took us on a slow paced stroll through the medina, where he greeted old friends and introduced us, all the while informing us about history, architecture, and customs. The Chefchaouen Medina is a tad more physically challenging than Tangier's--we think--so be ready for steps and uphill walking. The weather was perfect, and we were back home by 6:30 p.m. There is no doubt that we will return home in a few days with a greater understanding and appreciation of Morocco and its lovely people. We are very happy that we "discovered" Withlocals, and even happier that we discovered Thami. The money you invest in a with Thami will pay big dividends for years to come. -- David W. Betterton, Long Beach, CA (USA) Eric is like a walking encyclopedia (or chat gpt) Seriously, he is such an expert in Dutch history, art, architecture and culture. We spent a wonderful day in Bruges together. He knew where to lead me to avoid crowds of tourists ("they will all go that way so we'll go this way") I loved that and it was for taking photos of the beautiful, charming city. He is attentive, fun, caring and friendly, besides his incredible knowledge. The perfect guide. Don't hesitate to book with him Awais was helpful and responsive from our first connection, and the depth and breadth of his knowledge was immediately evident. He did a fantastic job of keeping us captivated, and helping us to understand the and events around Hiroshima. He also takes you to places that you may not necessarily visit or understand the significance of without his guidance such as the breathtaking digital vault with an encompassing mosaic of the damage that was created using the exact number of tiles as the number of casualties, as well as other fascinating memorials that honor all of the children of Hiroshima, including citizens from abroad. Awais is quite friendly and easy to spend time with - I recommend that you spend some time with him too! Me and my friends had a full day in Marrakech with our lovely Ouidad. From the first moment we met her it felt we meet someone we already knew before. Ouidad is kind, radiant, smiling and with sense of humour. Her knowledge and flexibility to meet our needs and interests were highly appreciated. We were a group of three women interested in history, architecture, handcrafts and culture. From the stories about Bahia palace and Ben Youssef madrasah to the stories in the souks and traditions, everything was catching and exciting. We immersed in totally new culture to embrace traditions, colours, scents and enjoy the beat of the streets of Marrakech. Ouidad was giving us a explanation about the sites of interest, traditions and was very patient and helpful on our way through the souks. I can’t find enough good words to recommend her. She is like a guardian angel that takes care of you from the very beginning to the end when it’s time for goodbye and that’s the difficult part because she is not a stranger anymore, but a friend. Thank you, dear Ouidad! We hope to see you again once back in Marrakech!
