We arrived at Bagni Lido at around 15:30 and were lucky enough to get the last spot. However, we were charged 30 euros for 2 sunbeds with no umbrella for 4 hours! Beggars can’t be choosers so we took it as we were also promised hot showers, a cabin, a swimming pool etc. but you needed a cap for the swimming pool and it turned out the hot showers weren’t even working… The toilets were also filthy. The staff were really nice and the bagni and swimming pool looked very nice - it’s just a shame it’s so overpriced and the facilities aren’t looked after that well. Very expensive and barely worth it if you're not someone who goes to the beach a lot. Decent location. I walked from Voltri to Arenzano following the road besides the sea almost 8 km several times which is amazing. The beach is unreasonably expensive. Hotels reserve sunbeds with umbrellas, while there are hardly any guests. We managed to rent the last sunbeds for half a day without umbrellas for 15 Euros/piece. The beach is a bit dirty. Great place, delicious food and a fantastic view of the ocean! Average food at a premium price.
