Greatly enjoyed our dinner. The service was excellent. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice. This seems to be one of a few restaurants in Sohren but with worst service I’ve ever seen. Very hard to make a reservation, as they say to do it online, however it’s not possible. Only possible to make a reservation for the hotel. Came for a coffee and they didn’t let me in, however there were empty tables. Tried few times to come after. No success. Yesterday on 22nd of February, 2025 I came to their restaurant and they were closed. However no info on their website. It was said ‘closed on 20-22nd of February 2025’ on a paper stuck on the door. I came today, on 23rd of February and they simply stuck a new paper that they are closed on 20-23 rd of February. What a service! Woman who took a bunch of boxes with pizzas and getting out said “we’re closed.” Easily doing whatever they want and don’t care of their clients. Never come again and won’t recommend to anyone. Beautiful little hotel, the bathroom is absolutely stunning. The family that run it are all lovely, and it's a very relaxing atmosphere. The food in the restaurant downstairs is plentiful and absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. The hotel shuttle bus was a life saver, and very easy to get and to organise for the following day. The room cost my father and I €55.00 which came with free transfers to the airport. The only downside I had, and It was more of a personal taste issue than anything, was that the room had a crucifix above the door. It was only a small thing, but I did not like it. Overall, however, I would highly recommend staying here. Great place for a short stay. Lovely and accomodating owners, flexible. The rooms are super clean, spacious, beds comfy, black out blinds, you can adjust the heater setting. Places to go for a nice walk, supermarkets near the property. Pick up and drop off to the airport on request. Amazing place guys, our family stayed here and we definitely are coming back. First we got a super fast and friendly pick up from Hahn Airport, it's just couple min drive from it and it is completely free. Second I want to mention is the cleanness of the room - it is spotless, no smell, nothing that will draw your attention, just amazing. And last but not least is of course the Restaurant. I honestly never tasted the better pizza in my life. Their Venezia pizza is something - my kids had, Carbonara pasta which was splendid, and their dressing on Italian salad - I need to get that recipe!!! The place is a gem and you for sure need to visit it!!!!
