Our party of four had Sunday lunch and weren't disappointed. Good value for money. A atmosphere. A good area outside on a sunny day to sit. Excellent place, warm and place, quick service and excellent curry, Visiting from London to see family and spend some time on the island and went here for lunch on tuesday and spent a hour or so. The lady behind the bar was very and even served me before her shift officially started, which was much appreciated. Dog-friendly too, will definitely drop by again if I’m in the area. What I call a proper pub, small and cosy, they had the fire on in both rooms. Food was beautiful, I had the rack of lamb roast and I think it was the best roast I've had out in years!! We attended the Monday evening after the festival, so it was very quiet and no food being served, so unable to give a full review. We had a very meal for 6 of us, including 2 teenagers. The curries were very and so was the sausage and mash. Lunch of chilli and curry both excellent pint of local bitter as well . Top notch Incredible little find. Sunday lunch gets booked up WAY in advance but we gave them a call and they very kindly offered a takeaway lunch. We then went back again later in the week for Fish n Chips Friday! It's not anywhere you'd just stumble across but it is worth seeking it out! This is a proper pub 👌 Wow what a 'find' this place was. Very welcoming atmosphere when you walk in, food beautiful and great beer. What more can you ask for? Well..... we got stuck, let down by our pre booked taxi, popped back into the pub to use the loo before preparing for the walk home in the dark! Nikki to the rescue!
