We had a great visit to the Village. The layout is perfect with well manicured bonsais throughout. The entry fee is appropriate and staff are welcoming and professional. Each of the models are well made mirroring properties in the village. The whole is clean, well presented and maintained. We had a very good visit and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Well worth a visit. The details into faces of miniatures were fascinating, and music playing from church and ballroom, to the miniature things in the shop windows.... Godshill is such a charming little gem – honestly, it feels like stepping into a fairy utopia! ✨ The attention to detail is incredible, with every tiny building, garden, and figure so beautifully made and cared for. As you wander around, it’s impossible not to feel a sense of wonder spotting all the little hidden details. The gardens are stunning too, bursting with colour and so well maintained – they really add to the magical atmosphere. The staff are friendly and clearly take great pride in the village, which makes the whole experience even lovelier. It’s peaceful, quirky, and full of charm – perfect for kids, families, or just anyone who wants to escape into a miniature world for a while. A true hidden treasure on the Isle of Wight! I was pleasantly surprised by the Village, it's bigger than I expected and the level of detail in the models and the little people doing various activities is very impressive. The perfectly manicured mini trees are amazing, these little bonsai artworks are arguably the unsung heroes of the Village! We took our five year old grand daughter to this amazing venue. She had been before but only as a toddler in a pram. We ordered our tickets online and turned up to meet a very polite & helpful young lady in the ticket office. Picking up a free quiz sheet for our grand daughter to fill in we began our journey around the mini version of Godshills quaint as well as other nearby landmarks. Our grand daughter thoroughly enjoyed her walk around the looking for the clues to answer the questions on the sheet. Although there were lots of people visiting there was no feeling of being overcrowded & we were able to stop & take numerous pictures during our stroll without getting in other people's way. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable walk with our grand daughter & a great way to spend a morning. Absolutely brilliant village, so detailed. Dogs are very welcome and our little dog loved watching steam train in this village. Book tickets in advance to avoid paying the increased price on the day of your visit. We were lucky & visited on a sunny day. The gardens are superb, the bonsai trees amazing; the churches have hymns playing, the bandstand music playing - railway has railway sounds. Wonderful afternoon out & beautifully tended gardens. The Godshill is an intriguing little gem, the is so beautifully made and maintained and the gardens are outstanding, all maintained to a very high standard. The staff were very friendly and welcomed our little fur baby. The gift shop has lovely trinkets to keep as memories of our morning here.
