This was a pub in a quiet little village, which seemed very popular. The staff were very nice and and there was plenty of seating outdoors and some indoors. This pub is dog friendly, indoors and outdoors. It was very clean, and the food was of descent portions. There is even a dog hydration station outside. The only reason I gave a lower mark was that my wife's steak was a little chewy, which in all fairness could have been the steak and I wanted a medium steak and it was a bit well done. The Landlady was suffering multiple problems but put me, the customer first. Her daughter jumped in to help, she was amazing, funny and really nice. This pub is fantastic, food is awesome and location. First time visiting since the new owners took over. It's so nice here and the new landlady and landlord are really friendly, the food was great and a good choice too. country pub, great atmosphere. Had the homemade fish & chips, very nice. Staff lovely, very & helpful. Large selection of drinks to choose from. Looking forward to coming back for a Sunday dinner! Staff and welcoming food was really tasty fair price and good atmosphere. My partner had the fish pie.He said it was the best fish pie he had had in a pub. The service was good and the atmosphere was very friendly. In all well recommended. Will definitely go again. A hidden gem! A really warm and atmosphere created by the chef and the manager. Made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made special effort with my little boy and as we left, they even gave him a present from under the tree! Will definitely be coming back as the food was just as good as the service!
