Although some of the amenities like the little petting zoo have gone, and I haven't seen donkey rides on the for many years, it is still a good place to come. Beautiful lovley walks along the shore. A good place to be when the weather is rough as the tide hits the walls and splashes up. Lovely stretch of the coastline with plenty of space and little distractions. Dog friendly. Decent cafes and bars, most of which are also dog friendly. It is such a lovely place, and the area is slowly being brought up to date with a new hub, which has a cafe, gym, library, and more. The is nice and has various sections for dogs. Small, quiet beach. Lovely and clean. Not many shops/arcades which is part of the charm. Lovely day out,great walk on esplanade then coffee in leisure centre cafe.
