Big choice and a clean venue which was busy. Portions were average at best, although is probably reflected in the reasonable prices to be fair. and was nice. The battered pizza (had to try it!) was plain bad, sorry. Don't waste your money on it, the pizza was clearly a cheap substandard thing rather than made on site. The serving girl was disinterested, bored and had the charisma of a nut. Although to be fair she looked like a teen so thats to be expected. The darker female was and even smiled. I wanted out of there. were OK and the could of been cooked a little longer but it was big. Good ice cream selection but couldn't buy any as my son wanted to try to get onto the road and the aforementioned server opened the door again after I shut it which was highly annoying. We were on holiday at Craig Tara and wanted to find a decent takeaway and this wee is amazing! Friendly staff, food, very clean and not expensive either. Also has a little ice cream counter with a variety of flavours. clean.. marked atmosphere as 3 as very quiet, staff all busy working away.. could be doing with a TV to watch whilst waiting or even a radio 😁 The was lovely, the sausage was but the only down side was that I got a haggis supper and it just wasn't spicy enough for my liking, just never had a taste to it. I'll just order something else next time as overall it was a good chip 30 quid for 2 n chips.. absolute rubbish for 2 frozen an frozen chips. Prossessed crap for top and prices..... Dont mind paying 30 quid for proper fried and but not for supermrket frozen and chips.....Rip off We came here during our stay at a nearby site and saw it on our way in. We were served by a lady who was attentive and polite and delivered a quick service. Our food did not disappoint! was a decent sized portion for only a regular, scraps were crispy and well seasoned and were light and fluffy. We struggled to finish it all but it was delicious nonetheless. We also had a pickled egg (yummy), some rum & raisin ice-cream and mango sorbet. Portions, again, were value for money and very tasty. I was really worried that it had gone downhill since last year, after reading the recent negative reviews and was really apprehensive to go. I’m glad I ignored (as I know most people only post reviews when they have something negative to say). I ordered cod and and the portion was really good. The was light and fluffy and the were really tasty. I couldn’t finish it all! The other thing was that it was really busy for 4.30pm on a Thursday evening and the phone rang a couple of times whilst I was waiting with people placing orders. So obviously the negative reviews were in the minority! Made an order to collect, drive it pick it up, got back home and they rang to say they had forgotten to put in part of our order, went back for it! Got home, plated everyone else’s up for them, to discover mine was missing. Rang the they had closed, tried to ring next day - no answer! Just went to grab something quick to eat and the food was absolutely disgusting. The was more like chicken so not sure how long it's been lying it wasn't fresh and flakey, the batter was soggy and not very nice at all. The kebab meat was clearly left over from yesterday as it looked "cooked" before it was put on spit to then be put on it for no more than 5 minutes to be reheated then taken back off again. The were very very dry and again not sure when they were actually cooked but tasted reheated. Overall absolutely shocking the way the food is cooked here never mind how long it's been lying and all went in the bin complete waste of money Absolutely dreadful had to wait over an hour for it and it was cold and was disgusting were soggy would not recommend this place to anyone I go here once a week throughout the caravan season and I am never disappointed.
