We visited on a Wednesday evening before a show at the Gaiety without a reservation and managed to get a table. We ordered the Chicken Jambalaya, the Katsu Burger and their Apple Crumble, all of which were big and tasty. The drinks selection wasn't impressive, with only Peroni on tap and a couple of other mediocre beers. The prices were higher than we expected, but nothing out of this world. The service was friendly and professional. The place looks enough and we were comfortable there. Overall a very experience and we would consider eating here when we're in Ayr next. My wife and I had lunch here on a week day. We both had a curry. Mine was the seafood curry while my wife had the beef curry. Both dishes were excellent. Service was quick and efficient. We will definitely be back. Went here for a spot of dinner, clearly not a place to turn up late and booking is wise. The food was very and the price very reasonable. We had a sharing dish to start that was varied, little heavy on the deep fried components, but all very quality. The main courses were generous and we were able to select decent red and white wines to go with our food. The cheese plate was also and eagerly shared. Well worth a visit. Firm favorite of ours Was in Wednesday night with friends We were not disappointed Fresh local produce Good sized portions Not expensive for the quality One not to miss if in Ayr Not open Monday and Tuesday Food was and staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely go back again. The Cajun chicken curry was beautiful and the greedy pig burger was delicious, however it was messy 😆 A small establishment by one of the corners by Dalblair road. Cosy and warm interior , great atmosphere for small gatherings and meet up with friends. Great hospitality from the staffs too. A great variety of dishes on the menu with a taste of global fusion. It’s certainly a place to try while you’re in Ayr. Nice little cosy spot with a selection on the menu and most importantly the food was great. We always love saffy. Could not recommend them enough We had a meal here. The staff were really friendly. They were also very careful about covid, wearing masks at all times. We really enjoyed our local (bottled) ales: Ayr's own Leezie Lundie and Jolly Beggars. The food was delicious yet very reasonably priced, with many locally sourced options. I highly recommend this bistro. A wonderful family run bistro with relaxed informal dining, a wide selection of high quality food at great prices perfect for vegetarians or meat eaters. Great fish dishes as well. Booking recommended as this place is very popular. What a gem of a place. My wife and I popped in at lunchtime for a coffee and soup and we're so impressed we booked for an evening meal. I recommend the haggis and black pudding fritters as a starter and the Shetland Salmon curry as a main. Definitely a place to take your special someone for a dinner. Stumbled across Saffy's by chance and very glad we did. Excellent food and service, plus a great atmosphere. Smoked haddock chowder was amazing! Couldn't fault it. A real gem. bistro just a short walk from the train station. Was in town for the day and found this on Google. Ordered the chowder and fish cake. Both amazing - fresh and homemade. Just lovely. Probably one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had. Plus super nice staff. Thank you Popped in in Saturday and luckily got a seat as it was busy. The staff were lovely, polite and happy. The food was really nice and price was reasonable. This is first iv been in a few years but will definitely be back again. Delicious food which was fairly priced and enjoyed but all. There were clean plates all round! I was part of a party of 5 and the service was too slow - we were there for 90 minutes and only had time for mains. The table next to us were given the dessert menu at the same time as us. They had their order taken, their dessert served and eaten but no one took our order in that time. We had to leave without dessert or coffee as we were going to an event. I would definitely recommend Saffy's as the food is wonderful but leave plenty of time if you are on a schedule.
