The ‘don of the day’ and hot meat on rice specials were definite highlights, with amazing flavours and great value. Just a heads-up: they sell out quickly, so it's best to get there early. They could use a few more rice cookers to keep up with the demand, but overall, it’s a must-visit for fresh and flavorful Japanese-inspired dishes in Chester! I love cactus it is a place of Boba dreams, not only amazing drink wise but the food is absolutely gorgeous. I had a crab onigiri and it was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go again. I’m actually mad at myself for not trying this sooner! I don’t want to eat or drink anything else ever again it was so tasty!!! And a lot of the boba teas (including the milk ones) can be vegan, as well as serving vegan food. Also the girl who served us was so lovely. Oh AND the food is so cheap (the price does not reflect quality at all though the rice was so fluffy, the meat / veggie meat so high quality, and a nice range of veg, all cooked perfectly)! My favourite place to eat in Chester! I order from cactus quite frequently, their food is delicious and fresh and they are always so accommodating. They have such a huge range of food and always adding new things to the menu. The drinks also have different sugar and milk options which is great for people with different needs. I’m a frequent a customer in person and by delivery and they have never ever made a mistake. I have included a selection of food I’ve eaten over the past few years- my favourites are the tofu steak, the katsu prawn and avocado uramaki and the katsu chicken ramen. They recently added Japanese cheesecake which is unbelievable (shown in pics) and hard to find in Chester so I would definitely recommend it! It’s really such delicious food and they have something for everyone which I love Went here for a birthday treat and the servicer was amazing! The bubble tea was also one of the best I've had - highly recommend the peach tea with strawberry bubbles! Friendly staff, extremely reasonable prices and now stocking imported asian snacks, too. 10/10 local spot to pick up lunch and go and eat on the nearby cathedral grounds. Also very good quality if you order delivery to your house. Whenever I go there (and when they should be open) they’re closed. No sign in the window, lights off, door locked. They only get two stars because I have had an onigiri from them and it was good. Doesn’t seem like I’ll ever have another though :/ This place has the most delicious Mango Milk BubbleTea drinks in Cheshire. The service has always been excellent and precise, to the correct peach bubbles or lychee bubbles that I order. The best. Thank you and I'll be back soon! The staff are always very kind too which goes a long way. Whenever I buy food from here everyone always asks me “oooh where’s that from?” Says it all! The owner was very nice, he made me a last minute drink even though he was closed. The drink was amazing, cheap, and quick. Can't wait to go back ! the boba here is fantastic. tastes great, made quickly and cheaper than a lot of other places. iirc it was around £4.50-£5 for a large which is a lot cheaper than other places i’ve been to that’s offered a smaller portion. the shop itself is spotless and offers a wide selection of different food and snacks.
