Love it here, lovely views and very peaceful. A car park, leads to a good size park. It is dog friendly. With a lovely climbing frame for children. It has a pretty lake with ducks. A good size area for on paths and grass areas. Also seating around and nice grass areas for picnics. Could do with a few more bins. Also a good walkway for cycling around. Saw lots of bikers and while we were there. Will definitely come again. Not a bad place to sit and relax or just take a short walk. When you enter the park, there is a silence that gives you peace, the birds are singing, and everything is starting to turn green. There are paths, benches for sitting, and a rope playground. There is a pond where ducks swim, and there are many birds in the park. In general, the has a lot of trees, flowers and plants that are starting to bloom because spring is coming. There are a lot of fallen trees now. Be sure to wear shoes that don't need to be kept clean. Some places are very dirty after rain. In the there are sculptures made of wood, many wooden or iron bridges for crossing There is a parking lot at the beginning of the park. A wonderful place, but very dirty in the autumn and winter seasons. In spring or summer, this will be a great place to relax, with children, and feed the ducks. Lovely and peaceful. Left to grow wild as nature intended to encourage wildlife so don't expect maintained flower beds etc, lots of wildlife to spot! Only a but interesting features, play area climbing frame and pond with ducks and a heron, good for walking the dog. nice dog walking spot includes children's play area and benches near pond This is a small-medium sized wooded nature park, suitable for a short with young and/or dogs. A pond attracts waterfowl and kingfishers and the woodlands and attract many other species of bird. There is a children’s climbing frame made of logs and ropes, suitable for older children. There are paths suitable for pushchairs around the park. There are no toilets or cafes here, although there is a supermarket in walking distance from the car park. Lovely area to around. even when the weather is a bit grey. Make sure you wear shoes that don't need to stay clean. Certain areas are very muddy. Would be great for teaching kids about trees and plant life. Nice place but not ideal for walking a larger dog. Ideal for smaller though. We wrapped up this place in 20 minutes before going elsewhere. Lovely place for a dog plenty of different routes and places to rest, would recommend to anyone. My first visit, so enjoyable. Easy paths to walk, occasional bridges to cross. Ponds, various flowers dotted about. All accessible just a short drive out of Chester. I'd definitely recommend this fun place for both adults and children. Quite a nice but half of the goes through a housing estate which makes it difficult to let your off lead. Also a lack of signs on the housing areas means it would be easy to miss next entrance back into the park. Caldy Valley Nature is but perfectly formed. If you want a quick step into a bit of nature, to get a few minutes away from the hustle and bussell of busy life, then you can't go wrong here. If however you are looking for a longer more taxing this place won't really be long enough, unless you do laps. Perfect stop-off to give the a break from the journey. Immaculate and cared for. Free parking! Lovely place to wall. A lovely place to around but be aware not everyone has their on leads!! My 7 month old pup was traumatised by a huge black German Shepherd type dog while the owner had earbuds in and completely ignored the stress!! Nice little to through. Takes some 20 mins. Good for the little ones to see nature.
