Met up with family before a film, three people behind the counter, a couple were being served in front of me, was completely ignored by all three baristas, no hello, no I will be with you in a minute...then after waiting for about five minutes two people stood behind me in the queue and the barista completely missed me and asked what the people behind me wanted. One of the guys recognized that I had been waiting and informed the barista, no apology, I ordered my drink, and it was put in front of me without so much of a word or eye contact from the barista. Shocking lack of customer service, I would know as a former assistant manager of Costa at Cardiff moto. I visited at 2.20 on Sunday 23/7/23 Very quick service. What more do you want? Customer is exceptional and I like the new design of the shop 🥰 Used to love this place but today I queued for a ridiculous amount of time because two ladies had decided to jump the queue and none of the staff corrected them. Said ladies then behaved like fussy Karens and held everyone up. No apologies, no thanks for waiting etc. Nipped in for a quick drink, would have been faster to pop home. Have to have my daily fix goingto work Great little Costa, welcoming, happy staff, good vibe & surroundings 👌 The cosy Costa tucked at the back of the Showcase Cinema is my go to meeting place for friends, cake and coffee. It has warm atmospheric lighting and as you enjoy your the aroma wafts around the area which has a range of seating types. Cannot fault it - plus the easy parking outside is a massive reason for coming here. Always liker popping in here,great conffee. Nice staff Unfortunately there was a KAREN in front of me complaining about the staff. Well I would like to say that the 3 young people working there were amazing. I had with a smile an a chat.
