Lovely well kept site, the pitches are mainly hard standing with slate and a grassy side for an awning if you so wished. Each pitch has its own electric and water supply. The shower block is rather dated, although we did like the showers as they work on a sensor (although they were way too hot). That being said, the shower cubicles need replacing / updating and the block is only cleaned once a day. The cleaners could also do with removing spiders and their cobwebs! The bar and terrace was tidy, with a great view towards the sea. The games and snooker room is generally locked, you just need to ask for the key. Great location for exploring the area, would recommend. The Fairy Glen pub is a 20 minute walk up the road, with amazing food and a good selection of drinks. The caravan site itself is lovely – clean, peaceful, and well-maintained with some great views. It’s a quiet spot that definitely has potential for a relaxing break. But unfortunately, the facilities seriously let it down. The toilets and showers were full of spider webs, spiders, and grime. It clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly in some time, and the cleaners don’t seem to be doing their job. The showers were dangerously hot, with steam pouring from the taps, and I even heard a child crying after trying to use them – it’s genuinely unsafe. The bar area is a nice touch, modern and welcoming, but overpriced, so you won’t want to spend too long there unless you’re ready to spend more than expected. At £45 a night plus electric, it’s just not great value considering the condition of the facilities. The site is on a hill (which may be tricky for some) and there’s nothing nearby, so you’ll need to bring supplies or be ready to drive out. Reception was quite blunt and unwelcoming, which didn’t give the best first impression. On the plus side, the number 5 bus stops nearby and runs regularly, which is really handy. It’ll take you to Conwy, Llandudno, and Bangor, so you can still explore without driving. Llandudno and Conwy are well worth a visit, but I wouldn’t particularly recommend Bangor — it didn’t have as much to offer in comparison. Such a shame – the site itself is genuinely nice, but until the toilets, showers, and customer service are sorted out, it’s hard to recommend The online image looked great but when we arrived it was far from it. The pitched were unbelievably unlevel, Feces on & around the pitch, Toilet block was disgusting, The elsan point was the worse I have ever seen in my over 40 years of campsites, When we left the reception wasn’t even open at 9:20am. The webpage says “well-maintained facilities” WRONG “welcoming atmosphere” WRONG “touring pitches are the perfect” WRONG Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
