Couldn’t recommend this hostel highly enough, stayed here for two nights. Very close to main path to snowdon mountain and local to town. Great beer and pizzas onsite! Rooms are clean and have own washing and toilet facilities. We didn't stay overnight, we were staying next door at Llanberis Touring Park, and we went for pizza and a pint. It was great! We hadn't booked but they fitted us in. We both had pizzas, which were freshly made and delicious. I had a Wrexham Lager, which was great, and my teenaged son had a pint of Coke. Really nice relaxed atmosphere, full of walkers, families and locals. Recommended. Comfortable and clean shared bunk room, ideal for short stays, ie walking etc. Friendly staff, great food and drink, great location. Slightly old-fashioned which is what I like, no gimmicks, just good basic accommodation and made to feel welcome. Will definitely return if back in the area I have eaten Gallt Y Glyn’s pizza and drunk their beer in the past and that was great. This time I stayed in the two bed en-suite bedroom over a weekend whilst I helped out with a triathlon. Elin and Darren are fantastic hosts.. nothing was a bother and I felt warmly welcomed. There is off road parking and of course an excellent bar and restaurant. The room itself was comfy with an excellent hot shower and tea and coffee making facilities which was much appreciated. It is only a short walk to Llanberis and I would suggest from other bunk house experiences this is is the best for miles around. If you have a choice stay here! I took a work colleague visiting from the US out around north wales on bikes and remembered about here from years ago when I last visited. Figured a stop here for pizza and a pint on route was a must and boy did it not disappoint! Food was awesome and so was the service! Diolch eto am noson gwych.
