Very nice but it only opens 12 until 6pm on a Sunday. It is very popular so you need to pre-book a Sunday lunch. Beautiful traditional country pub with outstanding views from the fabulous beer garden. Food is exceptional and very well priced. Good range of drinks from the bar with a fantastic kept cellar (the taste of the lagers and ales shows this). Sunday dinner is a must always piping hot and delicious. Portions are big and the meat is so tender with Yorkshire puds to die for. Fabulous choice of homemade desserts to finish. The pub may be old but the interior is up to date but in keeping with the character. Spotlessly clean and a very well kept beer garden with its very own stream. Traditonal coal fire roaring on the cold winter days. Staff are efficient and and seem nothing is too much trouble. Dog and the staff make such a fuss of them with bowls of water and a doggy treat. Highly recommended by locals aswel and you can see why. Top quality meat, fantastic steak pie. Nice selection of veg and roasties. The best Sunday lunch we've had out in a long time. Desserts are home made and amazing. Lemon meringue pie, jam roll poly, Pear bakewell were fantastic. Only open for Sunday lunch right now...if you want to go book a table! Last minute booking as staying in the area. Not much choice around that was dog friendly. We did previously go to the fairy falls but that is now indian restaurant and don't do dog meals anymore. But we have now found a better place for food in y Bedol. I had the fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. So tasty. Asked for medium rare, got medium rare. I really enjoyed my meal. My wife went for the chicken kebab, which she really liked too. Food was tasty. The service was really nice and friendly. We had a small dog and he was welcome. Nowhere does dog meals but we got sausage mash and gravy to take away for him. I would highly recommend this pub. Traditional Sunday Pub lunch, from an era when pubs provided good home prepped food, quality and value assured. How often do you see Suet Pudding on the dessert menu? We go when work allows and often see people from the coast travelling down to eat here, passing many alternatives which shows how good it is. Lovely food, good beers and smiles from all the team. Check opening hours and table availability in advance. Absolutely charming place! Gorgeous home cooked food...we had the roast turkey and roast pork. Staff were lovely, and welcoming...most definitely recommend 👌 We had lunch at the Y Bedol today,12.10.25 Excellent service food staff were very and helpful Excellent quality food.
