Having visited Allports in Llanberis a few times, the Porthmadog one just doesn't compare I'm afraid. Had and from here today, took them to a local beach. They were lovely. Easily one of the best & chip meals I’ve had — and I grew up eating the stuff weekly. Friendly service too. If you're in Porthmadog and want proper and done right, this place delivers. Was out for he day with my partner and stumbled across here , the food was absolutely stunning the only down fall is that we are from Manchester and it’s along way to come for and but we will definitely make sure to plan it around a day out in the future Terrible food, horrible staff, went in today for x2 jumbo dinners , came home to the not cooked properly ( lucky we only live 10 mins away) I went back and explained to they weren’t cooked, the had a rude attitude and said it was the potato’s , I opened the box and showed her, looked like they couldn’t be arsed with making us a new one, anyway she made us a new one and said sorry, by the time I got home, the were exactly the same as earlier and the sausage was horrendous.
