Came down on Holiday and so pleased we found this pub. The staff were really helpful and nice. The food was outstanding 👌 The four of us all had a different meal. One vegetarian. Not a single complaint coming from our table. Don't believe me.... go try yourself you're thank me Three generations of our family went for Saturday lunch to celebrate my father’s 93rd. birthday. Warm and welcoming on a dull day, lovely friendly staff, delicious food and the best homemade fish pie I’ve ever eaten. We spent most of the afternoon sitting and chatting and all felt very relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommended. Stopped here after a walk at golitha falls, very welcoming allowing dogs to join you for a meal, super friendly staff, meals were great. This little pub, is tucked away in a hidden village, next to the river fowey, great on warm days 😀 pay them a visit This lovely village deserves a pub with an owner who wants to provide good quality food and better quality serving staff. It’s a real shame for the village. We won’t be returning. The staff are all really nice to me and my little sister, and the display of the food was good.
