What amazing views you have to pass to get to this lovely place. There is a cafe in here open to all. Very clean with gorgeous views outside. Food is nothing to brag about but it will fill you up! People here are lovely and everyone had time to share their knowledge with you! There is even a room with a flight simulator in there. Well worth a visit! Enjoy! Our first visit both very happy with our food, hopefully we'll return soon. Thanks My 2 friends went up in gliders. The staff were warm and friendly, unlike the wind that day! The Club rooms did a great hot chocolate. Friendly Café. Reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere in a stunning location on the Long Mynd. Learned so much about glider aeroplanes from a lady training glider pilot on the site. Excellent flight experience with Chris. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be back! Didn't go gliding, but enjoyed watching the gliders take off and land. Went to the cafe here after a walk. Lovely cakes and coffee and reasonable prices. Great views. Will return! What a lovely club! Friendly people, great resources, nice fleet of gliders. It helps that weather is lovely! Will come back, too good for only one visit! A colleague and I were passing the gliding centre and decided to take a walk for a better view. We came across club member John, got talking and he very kindly offered to a take us for a closer look at the gliders. John had all the time for us, and answered all of our questions. For what was a spontaneous stop, we learnt so much in a short amount of time. Enjoyed a coffee in the cafeteria as well with friendly staff.
