Taverna Ura e Sulovës offered me one of the best dining experiences I found in Albania. The restaurant, opened 50 years ago by a local Albanian family, boasts a beautifully renovated location with cozy interiors and outstanding views on the vineyards. The food was simply delicious: all their cheese is produced locally by their own sheep, goats and cows - you must try the wine-infused ones! We also had an amazing tour of the shop and took home some bottles of their own produced Rosè wine - a generous gift by the family owned business. Will definitely come back! Absolutely amazing food and ambient, as well as and fast (Francesco was very helpful and recommended us the top best dishes). Starter mix was delicious, lamb and veal are soft inside and crispy outside. Coming from Argentina, and having traveled all around Europe, this was the best meat we have tried. I enjoyed a fresh, salad to start, followed by perfectly grilled goat's cheese and some incredibly tasty lamb — tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. It was a real treat to try traditional Albanian dishes in such a stunning setting. The outdoor space was magical, adorned with glowing lightbulbs and the soothing sound of running water nearby. I sent my parents to have a time, but the food really left a bad taste. We ordered the restaurant's specialty, but many things were served cold, tasteless. The chicken soup was fantastic. The "sac" meat seemed to have more bones left than meat. I think I will never go there again. We were surprised, and they explained to us that the English menus had not had their prices updated since 2020!
