Food is great, placed outside near the river. From the table is less than 4/5 feet away. Reminder: order the food from the local region, the menu is short, order as it is. There is no tap water. Very calm and beautiful place to stop and get great food with a great view!!! 10/10 Extremely Disappointing Experience – Lack of Humanity and Hospitality I had a deeply upsetting experience at Restorant Gjahtari in Librazhd. On a scorching day of over 40°C, I arrived with my husband, our 2-year-old child, and our small dog, looking for a place to rest, cool down, and have a meal. What we encountered was anything but welcoming. We were told in a cold, harsh tone by the owner and the manager that dogs were not allowed inside under any circumstances. When we calmly tried to explain the situation — the extreme heat and the presence of a small child — their response lacked any empathy or human understanding. To make matters worse, they claimed that "the Ministry does not allow it", which felt like a completely irrelevant and absurd excuse in this context. Since when does the Ministry dictate the treatment of customers in a private establishment? There was no effort to offer an alternative, no kindness, no flexibility. Just a flat-out rejection and an attitude that made us feel unwelcome and dehumanized. We had no choice but to leave in the unbearable heat, disappointed and disheartened. In a time when many places are becoming more inclusive and compassionate — especially towards families and pet owners — this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Hospitality is not just about food, it’s about how you treat people. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone who values respect, basic decency, or kindness.
