We were staying at a local hotel nearby and walked here every morning for breakfast! My favorites were the crusty chewy chicken small sandwiches and spinach egg tarts. We took a couple Gibassier cookies home but have not tasted them yet but the little samples were delicious. The cakes look wonderful! They will heat up anything. Just ask them. They are all helpful and speak English Excellent bakery products sold here. Gibasser was si tasty. The wheat bread (baguette type) was vert tasty and fresh. Several pastrt options too were ar the counter for sale. Looks like the chef knows what he is making and is selling them a lot. Highly recommend shop. Lovely bakery. We stayed in town for a week and came every morning. Great selection and friendly service. 3 baguettes for 2.50, baked on premises and warm out of oven at 8am. A nice selection of pre-made sandwiches and croques, quiches and tasty looking pastries. Croissant and pain au chocolat nice but nothing special. Very friendly counter staff. Some seating outside, coffee and juice available for purchase Been there every morning for our breakfast needs. Different choices of bread, sweets and local juices. Do they speak English - no - but who bothers ? Thank you ! Their specialty gibassier is an enormous cookie (12 x 10 inches) in the shape of a fougasse. Very good with coffee or dipped into red wine! Meh, Dry and not at all exceptional. Recomend others that I have reviewed. I have now been to this boulangerie twice. The products are very good, however, both times a young lady helped me and both times she over charged me by about 3 euros.
